Hotel Cardinal of Florence - recommended for ages 25 to 55

Beautiful terrace on the roof available to guests. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially taking the bags up the four flights of stairs. Breakfast was tasty and a good deal.

The stairs could be problematic for older guests, and there's no elevator.

The staff was fantastic, the location was perfectly walkable to all attractions, and the room offered ample space for two people. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the Hotel Cardinal.

Neat hotel, very clean, newly renovated. Fresh d?ƒ??cor. Excellent staff. Lovely view from the rooftop balcony. Solid breakfast and afternoon tea was a nice bonus. Excellent location near the Duomo and other major historical sites.

Free minibar did not live up to expectations (minimal selection). All rooms different, so would recommend springing for room with balcony or city view.

The location was very good, close to most of the important sites. You can walk everywhere from the hotel.

Everything was good, but honestly if you can not climb stairs try a different hotel. Located at the 4th floor no elevator, other than that everything was perfect

walking disance to everything, walked from train was about 20 min walk or so, not bad. staff helped us get luggage up stairs which was great. cute spot. nice bathrooms

It’s on the third floor. very steep steps to climb upHot water wasn’t working one day Next day it ran out of hot water!!!Seriously ? The place needs a huge upgrade, dirty hallway carpet, and it smells horrible. I could hear the next room, The guest was snoring. the note on the nightstand, said we can provide you with the earplugs. ?Not a place I want to pay $250 plus a night. Pay far less than that because it was off-season, but the value was not there. It was horrible. Knowing what I know now I would’ve paid little bit more and stay far better place than this location.

Amazing location, inn the middle of everything, clean , neat, very friendly and helpful stuff. The hotel has a beautiful terrace on top that we used it every night.

Only think I didn’t like is the fact that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator(it was build in 1600) and going up the stairs it was hard.

We had a lovely stay, Staff were very welcoming and provided great hospitality throughout our visit. The location was convenient and ideal for getting around. It was excellent value for money. I would happily stay again and highly recommend it to others :)

Terrible, do NOT stay here dirty hotel

Dirty rooms that were not acceptable to sleep in, no air conditioning as was advertised, smelled of sewage, torn bedspread, cold shower. Did not feel safe or sanitary to sleep there, especially as a pregnant woman.

The location was awesome, close to everything. The coffee machine and rooftop was also very nice.

The wifi was not good at all. It was keep disconnecting and was annoying.

Great location, very attentive staff, comfortable room with a new and clean bathroom. The terrace with its amazing views is a big bonus. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m back in Florence.

The stairs up to the hotel are pretty rough to take especially with luggage.

Rooftop terrace with great views. Location is great. Bedding was great.

Shower is incredibly small. Waste of space taken up by the bidet. 3 flights of stairs.

This hotel is centrally located to all of the main attractions that Florence has to offer.

The reception desk is three stories above street level and there is no elevator. That means hauling all of your luggage up six flights of stairs. The bathrooms were recently renovated but I’ve been in phone booths larger than these showers. Also, the A/C would cycle on and off every night starting at 10 pm.

The hot water was not working my entire stay and the hotel staff didn’t even inform me, another traveler told me. Lots of stairs!!!! Was told there was some stuff for breakfast, but was never there when I checked.

68 stairs. No elevator. But then staff helped me carry my suitcases.
