This hotel was in the perfect location! Walkable to everything I wanted to see! The owners were incredibly nice and the place was very clean! Loved it all!

Hotel Cestelli is a gem! This hotel is centrally located- but feels like a quiet hidden oasis. It’s located in a beautiful historic building, it has the charm of an Italian Villa plus modern amenities. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and so helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well curated. Hope to come here again!

The area was really good - walking distance to almost everything. Had a really great time bec of the area and how convenient it is to everything. And the staff are so nice, warm and kind. Will definitely recommend this place.

Size of bed

Perfectly situated, charming, old style locanda-hotel with delightful owners. I was traveling solo and took a room with shared bath. Very comfortable and clean throughout. Already booking a larger room with en-suite bathroom for when I return later in the year with my wife.

It is in an excellent location with great restaurants nearby. Every evening opera singers or musicians would come and play in the square at the end of the street. If you opened the window you could hear them but it was magical to walk down to see and hear them play.

The shared bathroom situation was not ideal but I already knew about it. At night it would get a bit cold, I wish there was some kind of heater on. However, they provided me with a blanket that made things a lot better.

The sink in the room made the shared bathroom almost a non-issue. My room was clean and tidy when I arrived, and the bathroom was always very clean too.

The bed was firmer than I would have preferred personally, but not too much of an issue. A few more fluffy pillows would have been excellent, and I had a fan for a few nights, but then it disappeared.

Absolutely lovely. The location is fabulous, close to Ponto Vecchio and the Duomo, but still quiet enough. Walkable from the train station if you don't mind a walk. In the evenings you can hear performers from the neighbouring square, which is just dreamy. The room is cute as a button, a good size, well maintained and lovingly cared for.The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming, from providing advice for our visit to helping us find our way out of town during a rail strike.

My only note that other guests may like to consider, is that the shower in our room was quite compact, so if you are a bigger person you might find it a tight fit.

The location was wonderful. Right near Ponte Vecchio, so easy to walk to all the main sights around Florence centre. Was given good suggestions for places to visit and eat all hand marked on a map by one of the owners. Including good vegetarian food options to suit me. Lovely hosts and nice to smell Japanese incense in the morning.

There was one bathroom and shower for all the guests to share. It never was an issue and I didn't have to wait to use it but that is the one thing I liked least. The bedroom had a hand sink and bidet though.

The staff here was very helpful making suggestions on where to eat, getting around Firenze and places to see.
