    Pros +

    • The owners are incredibly sweet and accommodating, and they have fun personalities. They're funny/sarcastic.
    • This is a lovely, beautiful hotel close to the main Florence train station. Guests have access to a nice terrace and the people who run it are really wonderful. The room was clean with plenty of space for our luggage, and there was a coffee machine. We were also able to store our luggage for a few hours after check-out, giving us an extra day of exploration in Florence.
    • The location is excellent, far away enough to be out of the tourist craziness, close enough to walk to the Duomo in 7-8 mins. The owners are wonderful. Pino made me a cup of coffee every morning and chatted. Their terrace is wonderful; you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of Florence. I had a great time

    Cons -

    • Our room was on the street-side, so we could hear all the loud noises from the street even after closing the window. Earplugs were provided, but it was still hard to sleep at times.
    • The first floor room was a bit noisy in evenings with post-dinner traffic, but earplugs solved the issue.
    • The price does not go according to the facilities, it is comfortable and the place is good but not at that price.

It is very close to the train station and very close to several important places in Florence. The owner's attention was excellent.

The price does not go according to the facilities, it is comfortable and the place is good but not at that price.

Great location within a 10 min walking distance to city center. The hosts were amazing people. During the day they were on the premises to provide info or just hang out and chat with me up on the rooftop terrace. The terrace was an awesome escape from the hustle and bustle in the street below. The bed was satisfying and I received a second pillow with no problems upon my request.

No bathroom in the room, for a pretty high price paid for the room. The room had no AC so it will be very hot during the summer. I opened the window to get some fresh air and air circulation but the very busy street right outside my window kept me up with constant noise. There was a lull in noise between about midnight till about 5 am where I could sleep. The hotel provided ear plugs which helped. I may have had better nights sleep if my room window was facing the rear courtyard.

Location was situated very conveniently, walking distance to the train station, tourist attractions, market, many restaurants and fortezza da basso, the conference venue. Not luxury, but felt sincerely homy. The lady was very helpful, going out the way to help me out. Truly generous couple maintains the place.

This little hotel was a delightful discovery. My room led on to a beautiful terrace. It is run by a very nice couple, an American lady and her Italian husband. For a one star hotel it really exceeded my expectations.

    Well located (city center), clean.

Old place, with old short bed, and noisy floor given I slept in the ground floor and could hear the people above walking. Photos in the web-page don't represent the one I slept in. Moreover, toilet is shared and was located in first floor so seemed so uncomfortable.

Proximity to train station was great. Also enjoyed the rooftop terrace.

My room was on street level next to reception so I found it rather noisy even with windows shut. Front desk was often unstaffed and entrance door unlocked so I was concerned about potential access to room keys.

Very clean! Lovely host and the property is screaming with a homey Italian charm. I like how near it is from main train station, duomo and basically everywhere. Never used the public transpo during my entire stay. There’s also a small restaurant near the property that’s got lovely food - Il Basilico. I also love that the shared toilet gets cleaned almost like after it gets used. Your room is also cleaned daily. And awesome hospitality from the owners. Would definitely come back!

The room and shared bathroom are very clean. Good to have coffee machine in the room and desert everyday. The hosts are very nice. I appreciated their help and sharing. It's a lovely and warm place like staying in friend's house. I had good time there.

My room is on the street, so there's some noise. I got used to it which didn't bother me too much.

This is a small hotel located about 550 meters from the central train station, close to the attractions. I felt safe alone in the area. The room was simple but clean, the bed was comfortable. The hosts are very nice. I felt good in the hotel. Good value for money. I recommend it to everyone.

Great place. Close to the railway, and close to everything you could possibly want to visit and be a part of in Florence. I absolutely loved it. Room was clean and tidy and shower was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Amazing stay, thank you

Nothing to say here as it was a GREAT STAY

Very helpful owners, convenient location. Weather prevented visiting the terrace.

I had a street facing ground floor room, which meant some disruptive noise

Lovely old building with quirky character.About 5 or so minutes walk from Firenze SMN station and also within easy walking distance of everything. An espresso coffee machine and a cake for breakfast every morning. Clean and very comfortable bed, friendly staff (cleaning lady was lovely) and also the owners who were very helpful. The bathroom is shared but we didn’t see anyone else there. Very reasonable price considering the location etc.Would definitely recommend and would love to go back there.

Nothing. We loved it. The only negative ( for some) would perhaps be that it can be quite noisy in the street but it really didn’t bother us. We even enjoyed the singing of the man in the bar nearby.

Quaint, decorated nicely. Not too crowded and very friendly staff.

Stairs with a heavy case . Breakfast could have been good.

This charming, family run lodging is located around the corner from the Central market, an easy walk from the train station and top sights. An amazing patio with great views and lots of fruits and vegetables in planters and the family's pet birds in residence provided a lovely retreat after a sightseeing, in-room coffee machine and mini fridge provided comforts of home. Thank you hostess Carmella for upgrading my room, , the private shower was much appreciated! If you're visiting Florence, don't hesitate to book here!

    Everything was great, no downside.

    7PhoebePosted on: 8-20-2024

The room was small but comfortable - it was great to have a sink and fridge in the room. The shared bathroom/shower was clean and never busy so I had no problems using shared facilities. The location was great, easy walk from the station and to other main sights.

The room only came with a fan and no AC. This was as advertised, but it was unbearably hot so this is something to keep in mind if you are visiting in the summer. There was a lack of power outlets in the room, as all of them were already connected to appliances.

    8ChristinePosted on: 7-29-2024

Lovely little hotel walking distance from the train station. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a very curated experience to stay here. The shared terrace area provided a great breeze on the hot days.

Not every room has AC, which is clearly listed on booking so be sure to read! Unfortunately in July it was extremely hot so while the fan helped it was a bit of a struggle falling asleep with the window open to so much street noise from the bars and restaurants down below. There were only a few outlets in the room - one being used by the fan, one for the minifridge and one for a bug spray - so navigating which to unplug when my phone needed a charge was tricky at first until I figured out the best system for me.

Great location. They have a cute terrace. However, I didn’t know that my room is next to the street, which makes it supe
