Hotel Firenze 2000

I did not like anything besides that it was available at the time. I had no choice but to book.

The rooms smelled, dirty, bathroom shower did not drain and several broken things in the room. The tv very extremely small and the management was not helpful. Way too overpriced for that low quality of a hotel. I was not satisfied.

Location and price was great, also parking the street outside was free on Sunday and reasonable on weekdays. Breakfast was a bonus.

Good location within a 20 minutes walk to the historic center. Safe and quiet neighbourhood with lots of restaurants nearby.Nice surprise with the delicious breakfast!Staff was very helpful and allowed us to leave the luggage at reception after check-out as we had an evening flight.

Price is unreasonably high in peak season, considering the conditions: small room, no widows and faulty air conditioning.Would only book again In low season when price is more accurate for what the hotel offers.

The place was nice and clean. The staff was great and was of help each time we needed anything. They served a very good breakfast which was very satisfying. The room given was very big and spacious. The location, although was not very central, but with just some walking, you would easily arrive at the heart of Florence. Overall, all was OK and I fully recommend.

The only negative thing that I have to say is that although the room was very big, it lacked slightly some essential furniture which one would normally expect to have in a hotel room such as bed side tables with lamps and some proper bathroom furniture.

They were very helpful with buses, restaurants and any questions we had. They were very professional and efficient and kind.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were adequate and clean.

The location is a bit far out from the main attractions, general location is a bit tired.

Breakfast was fairly good

Room- clutter, five bed were placed but requirement was for 3 beds, Mattress were very poor quality, For double bed mattress was larger than bed one may fell down while sleeping , staff was asked to replace the mattress but refused, asked to provide a glass for drinking water but refused , poorly maintained bathroom. This property does not deserve to be a Hotel. Highly over priced.

Location was good staff friendly and helpful change of room carried out without any fuss. Bed very comfortable.

No butter at breakfast. Rooms shabby with electric plugs hanging out of walls. Bathroom door missing screws worried bout being locked in.

The location was great, just a 15 minute walk to the main area of Florence.

The rooms are plain, a bed, tv, lamp, table and two chairs and no window to the room. There is no decor or character with any pictures being hung, or decorations to the room, to break up the plain beige walls.The breakfast offered was worse than basic. On our second day, we took our own breakfast, only eating the croissants from the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, free fast wifi, breakfast was nice and had gf options. Quick 20 minute walk to the main station

Would recommend bringing an eye mask and ear plugs. Curtains are not black out and is a bit noisy but reflective in price

Staff was very accommodating. Clean towels and room service daily. Very good location. Close to city centre, shop nearby (less than 5min), take out places and food and drink places nearby also, come and go when you like, quite area, seemed very safe area even at night time.

Very basic facilities but price reflects this. Breakfast also basic but sufficient for start of the day. Good place for sleep, shower and basic breakfast, and very nice staff. Few maintenance issues such as broken shower but still functional. Overall for the price we paid the few issues were expected.

Jut the gentleman who was in reception was kind

everything was so bas hotel really unacceptable ir was dirty, no rugs or carpet, bed was old and unclean, bed side table was broken, everything was dirty and smelly also all the plugs was not working only the toilets plug was working .I didn’t have any choice to go somewhere because we paid beforehand we come. I don’t recommending to anyone

We liked that we could check in early and the size of the room that could accommodate all of us and the air conditioning. It was also within our budget.The staff both reception and cleaning were really friendly.

There were old style plugs that didn't fit any of our adapters but when we spoke to reception they loaned us one. Breakfast was a bit basic and odd...only hot items were sliced hot dogs.

The room was big and super clean!The staff was nice and understanding with any requests we had!I fully recommend this hotel!Quiet location and you can have a nice sleep and also is close to city center!It says 2* but is definitely worth more!You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel!

The staff were excellent. Polite and gentleman. They were helpful, and gave information abd map of Florence and gave the address of good pizza ? restaurant. I recommend this hotel. The location also is very good. Near the river and historic area

If there was a small refrigerator in the rooms, it would be nice.

Disappointing

The shower head was broken so it was very difficult to shower and wash hair. Floor was dirty and there was an unpleasant smell. Very average amenities for the price of the stay.

It is fantastic value for money for a family with a car. You get a great location very close to the gorgeous medieval town centre of Firenze. The possibility to park is excellent but I would strongly urge you to book parking in advance as there are limited spaces. It was a great relief to park right next to the reception on a hot day after a long drive. The room was very spacious, and had adequate airconditioning for a day with a heatwave. The bed was very comfy.The breakfast was decent.Generally you had a sense of spaciousness, no clutter from open suitcases etc.

The room had limited light as it is somewhat lower than ground. The windows were a bit high up. It didn't bother us at all, as (a) we were not aiming to live in the hotel but go out immediately. (b) a lot of light in boiling heat can be a disadvantage and you'll end up closing the shades anyway. This was the only tradeoff for the fatastic VFM of this place. Another small improvement would be to add at least one schuko socket in the main room. The only schuko was in the bathroom that was a bit awkward.

The guy at the reception was helpful at night when the AC in our room wasn’t working so he switched us into a different room

Breakfast was horrible and literally had inedible items. Milk was sour, hot water in the kettle was cold so no possibility for a Tea, croissants were hard as they were old and not fresh. Rotten fruits, hot food cases were empty at 9am and when we asked for hot food they simply said everything is finished. Things were really old, hair dryer wasn’t working. Free breakfast scheme is a scam here. Better not to serve people with complimentary breakfast rather than giving such inedible options.

Very friendly staff, no problem with check-in nor invoices.

For breakfast there was literally nothing warm. Just cold croissants, butter, jam, marmalade, milk (cold), flakes, juice (2 out of 3 flavours working).Italian plugs (hardly compatible with rest of Europe).The room was very basic: bed, night stand, protruding wall acting as a table, chair. Not even a single wardrobe.
