- This hotel is in a great location, removed from the super busy/touristy areas of Florence. A gorgeous building and our room was breathtaking.
Cons -
- I made reservation and informed I was coming with a vehicle. There was no one at the front desk (seems usual for attendants to leave their post), they informed me via WhatsApp they sent someone to take my vehicle to a parking garage, but do not share individual info. A young guy shows up on a scooter and informed me he was there to take my car rental to a garage. When I asked where the vehicle will be stored, only information provided was 5 min away. No location, address, no retrieval ticket, nothing. I felt SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I reached back to hotel staff via WhatsApp and they never responded again.
- I was offered coffee while we waited for our room to be ready - it was the most horrible, burnt cup of coffee I have ever had in my life. Our biggest letdown was the bathroom - it was honestly pretty gross. Could see mold on the ceiling as well as near the walls of the shower. Bathroom door was also VERY hard to unlock which was odd. For how expensive the room was, this was disappointing.
- The area was one big room and a wc. I doubt its 54msq. Read the conditions in detail and carefully. The photos could mislead. The photos are of different suites. There was only 1 big bed, and a couch converted to a noisy bed. If you stay 4 adults, you sleep together. The converted bed was not comfortable. The flush also did not function properly. They even made me sign a document not to throw anything but wc paper.

the room was gorgeous and comfortable. in a quieter part of the city with cool wine bars and restaurants and gardens nearby
You really feel staying in a historical palace. Great location. But, there were many buts...

Love the historical designs. The hotel is walkable distance to all the attractions and 15 minutes from the train station.
The room we had (Room #1) was enormous with 20 foot ceilings and around 1500 sq ft. The walls were frescoed and ceilings very decorative. This is a 15th century building and the rooms seems like those you see in museums. The location was fantastic, close to the city center and even closer to Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area too.
Being a 15th century building, there are some minor funky-ness to be aware of. There is a tiny elevator but still a handful of steps between that and the reception area. Exiting the inner gate was a little tricky to figure out until you notice the button that is behind you are you exit.
This hotel was such an amazing surprise! The location was perfect, and the facilities were unique, spotless and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. I’ll definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!
I would want gym facilities.
Room interior was amazing.
First, when I requested a towel, the receptionist directed me to check with my friend’s room, which felt very inconvenient especially since I am a guest and should not have to go searching in another room for availability. In addition, the housekeeping service was disappointing. There was vomit on the bed sheet, and while the bed was made, the sheet itself was not properly cleaned or replaced.Overall, the cleaning service and customer experience need significant improvement. Despite the room being beautiful and the location excellent, these small yet important details can completely change one’s perspective. At times, it felt as though I was staying on the street rather than in a proper hotel.
Its located in the old town away from the crowds but a very short walk to all the important attractions.
Nothing particularly. But i wish they would install more hangers in the bathroom.
In a very good location. Rooms had a very historical look and feeling. The art work and painting on the ceiling. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.
Great location, spacious room, lavish decoration and above all - the most accommodating receptionist.

We were a family of 5 and the family suite we had was amazing and beyond our expectations. The room and the bathroom were huge and made us feel we were living in history. This is the only property in our italy stay which had an elevator - a big plus with little children. The location of the property wasn’t central, but everything was within a 20 min walk, which was great.
The sofa bed mattress was kind of uncomfortable and sagging and needs to be upgraded. Breakfast for me was disappointing. It was just a sweet breakfast - a bunch of breads, croissants and some basic cereals. It had no proteins - eggs or meat. If the breakfast had some savory options as well this hotel would have been a 10/10 for me.
In the heart of firenze. Beautiful classic rooms with tall ceilings. Nice breakfast.
space of the rooms
Front desk lady was not happy to be there and breakfast was spoiled.
Location
Room was not ready when we arrived; check in was at 2pm and we had to wait until 3pm. For the cost paid, I believe better services could have been provided (including breakfast)
The location is absolutely perfect for access to everything, all the sites and the train station. The room was lovely and the frescoes were wonderful to come back to at the end of a day seeing breathtaking art. Book this hotel, you won’t regret it.
This was a very from the apartment in a very good area of Florence. The staff was also very helpful
Location—close to old city and local restaurants.
Very warm, AC was not turned on. No staff on location from 8:00-7:00.
The inside was beautiful, location brilliant and super easy with the option for breakfast if you are in a hurry out for the day. Bed super comfortable.
Few issues with aircon, however when we reached out to the team were super responsive and were of great assistance to help us get it back and running.
