    Pros +

    • My stay at Villa Cora presented a mixed experience. The most striking positive aspect of the hotel is undoubtedly its appearance. The ambiance is truly phenomenal; the hotel lobby is magnificent, as are all the accommodations. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, living up to the hotel's luxurious image.A particular highlight was the breakfast experience. The service during breakfast was sensational, and the food was very good, which certainly impressed me in a positive way.
    • Amazing hotel in a great location, just a short walk to the centre of Florence. Some of the best hotel staff we have ever come across, from the restaurant to the reception to the pool, the service was immaculate. The room was spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave!
    • Incredibly beautiful building and interiors. The pool was heated and although not warm, it did take the edge off. Food and service incredible. Breakfast not massive but so well presented and thought out. Rooms adequate and well appointed. Although our room did have a bath shower which was quite impractical and storage in the bathroom for toiletry bags etc was limited. Complimentary shuttle to and from Florence and location to Florence. Just 10 mins away. Taxi will cost £20

    Cons -

    • However, the experience was slightly marred by the check-in process. The staff member seemed rushed and a bit rude toward my family and me. This was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber, where an impeccable level of service is expected, which unfortunately wasn't delivered on this occasion.Another minor point of concern is the hotel's location. It is quite a distance from the main points of interest in the city, requiring a walk of approximately 30 minutes to reach them.Overall, a beautiful hotel with great accommodations, but with some service and location aspects that could be improved.
    • Nothing!
    • I think we went high season (September) so our smaller room was £800 a night and this isn’t even including breakfast which came to around £100 per day. So very very expensive for what you got. I feel like breakfast should be included for that kind of price tag. Even the best hotels in Dubai include breakfast. No steamer or iron in the room. They said for fire risk but I feel this is just an excuse. I was trying to decrease my clothes with a hairdryer which is far more dangerous!!

The hotel and gardens are beautiful and the location, in the leafy southern suburbs about half an hour walk from the city centre, was idyllic.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt that for such a prestige property certain areas could and should be improved upon. Our rooms were smaller than we expected. Tea and coffee facilities were basic (we expected a Nespresso machine at the very least) and not enough complimentary water was provided in the rooms (just one carton each at turndown). Breakfast was a little underwhelming and, at €40pp for the buffet, not good value for money. Bar and pool service was at times quite slow.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The gardens and pool area are lovely and the architecture is stunning. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Food and drink was excellent by the pool. We didn't eat in the main restaurant during our stay but the recommendations for restaurants in Florence that we were given by the hotel were superb.

    Having to leave..

What a wonderful experience. The hotel is phenomenal. So beautiful, and the pool and facilities wonderful. And the staff amazing! Fabio, for instance, gave us stellar advice and recommendations (we had the best dinner in our two week stay, because of his tips!). Fantastic team.

We love everything about Villa Cora. The decor and style of the hotel is incredible. The staff are attentive and service is relaxed but discreet. The breakfast is great. The pool is beautiful and very laid back. The dinner is top class.

This is our home when we travel to Florence. There is nothing we didn't like.

The property is stunning. Beautiful roses all around and very well maintained grounds. The pool area is even more beautiful than the pictures and videos. Truly special! The front of house staff were amazing.

We had the duplex on the Nobel floor. It was nice but beds are not very comfortable, no in room coffee or tea supplies.

Villa Cora is the most amazing property and certainly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning. Staff went the extra mile and so friendly and helpful. Location is excellent.

Breakfast was fantastic—absolutely super! The staff were wonderful and very attentive. We were also fortunate to attend the Christmas brunch, which was exceptional. The food was outstanding, there was live music, and the atmosphere was simply incredible.

Gorgeous old villa in a magical setting close to Downtown yet secluded. The added values that makes this property superlative is the staff. Attentive, polite yet charming they made my stay absolutely perfect. I am a disabled traveller with a service dog so I can be demanding at times, but in this case they really made sure I had all I needed before I even asked for it!

I wish I had spent more nights there.

    Beautiful setting. Friendly staff.

The rooms are extremely small for the price paid per night. AC was not working properly. No Espresso machine in the room, which is not normal for a hotel of that category.

Beautiful property with fantastic and sympathetic conversion to a hotel with some delightful principal rooms and grounds

The chandeliers surrounded by large shades

Beautiful building and interior decorations - manages to remain welcoming and relaxing despite the grandeur; wonderful friendly staff who do not put a foot wrong and can’t do enough to help you; delicious breakfasts and delicious food down by the pool - pizzas fresh from the oven, salads, pasta etc.; in Fiesole but an easy walk down the hill to the Porta Romana or a shuttle service at key times

I love it! And will come back for an Autumn / Winter visit. An improvement for the pool in this impossibly hot summer would be to have some shade over the pool. The pool water was bath water warm and there was no respite from the sun while in the water

Wonderful hotel within a 10 minute taxi or shuttle ride to Florence town centre. A boutique hotel with 5 star facilities, food, service and staff, all set within beautiful grounds and magnificent architecture.

The one and only thing is at the room price I would expect breakfast buffet (which was excellent) to be included.
