Hotel Giglio

Very friendly and helpful stuff. Very good breakfast. Clean rooms and common areas. The location makes you feel you live in a regular quiet neighborhood. You are few minutes away from all the touristy places and also very close from normal local areas.

The Hotel Giglio is in a historic building on the 2nd floor, and is in an excellent, quite location with easy access to the tram launching our daily adventures. The owners, Marco and Manuela were lovely and wonderful to speak with on all things Italy and traveling. The breakfast was delicious, the bathroom clean and of good size, and the room was simple but comfortable. I highly recommend as I prefer to stay in places that retain a historical quality and a personal attention to creating acquaintances.

This is a small family run hotel which felt this way, the personnel very friendly and warm. The breakfast was super nice, with a variety of things to have. The rooms were quite spacious, and very clean.Location was really good, and you can pretty much walk everywhere.

They did not take rubbish from the toilets everyday.

Manuella and Marco and Roberto were gracious, friendly, cheerful and always helpful with information and insights. Their hotel has a comfy, homey atmosphere. Location is very near T2 tram line, which goes to S.M. Novella train station and to airport. The Accademia Gallery, Duomo and other sites are within walking distance. An enjoyable experience.

location of the hotel is perfect, 10 min walk to the center. Very good breakfast in the morning, they serve every thing for the breakfastMarco (the host) and his wife are very kind and a good communicators. Marco was our guide for our stay in Firenze. the room has all the basics

- stars on the ceiling (at night) were lovely- atmosphere was great- owners were super-friendly and recommended a lot of great places around

Manuela, Marco and Roberto are kindness, warmhearted and patient. They gave every information which I needed about Florence, and helped me many times as well. Especially, they offered to help me to solve a rough issue with one hospital in Rome!

Small hotel run by a lovely couple who were very nice and helpful. The location is great, a 10-15 minute walk from many attractions. Our room was spacious and clean.

Hotel Giglio was lovely. The room (with three singles) was very spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and accompanying. Breakfast was perfect each morning before a full day of sightseeing. I highly recommend a stay here.

The owners, Marco and Manuela, are so nice and very helpful! The room was comfortable, the AC works very well and the location is very convenient in a quiet part of town but 10-15 minute walk to most attractions. Oh, and a great breakfast!

It was quite a long way to walk to the ponte vecchio given the heat - would have been fine in normal temps
