Globus Urban Hotel

This charming small hotel is an easy walk from the train station and an easy walk to many of Florence's attractions. Mercado Central is one block away.

We stayed during a heat wave, so we were very grateful for the air conditioning -- but it blew forcefully directly onto bed and the thermostat lit up on and off all night, which made sleeping a challenge.

Location, nice staff, clean.

Couldn't open the windows and the AC wasn't working.

Room was really good - very clean and comfortable with plenty of space.All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast team were always as helpful as possible and very welcoming - keeping the buffet well stocked and the coffee flowing. Location is really god - you can walk to all the key sites

The noise from the bars in the street outside if you want an early night but ok if you return after 11.30pm.

Room was fantastic, close to the train station and a lot of the local Medici attractions. Uffizi gallery and Michelangelo lookout are short walks. Even provided breakfast was good

Very nit picky but the closeness of shower door (literally hit the sink) and the toilet - toilet paper. These are 1st world issues and really didn’t bother me.

Great location. Walking distance to major sights in Florence. Many good restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful, professional and friendly.

The staff was very informative and friendly. Check in was easy and Jasmine is a gem!She greeted us every day and gave us tips for travel and local sights. The room was a good size and very clean. I really appreciated the amenities. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast! It was wonderful. Mia and Ivy were our coffee baristas and it was the best way to start the day! When we visit again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The staffs were all very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast staffs were also excellent and provided great service! Location of the hotel was also very good. Convenient to everywhere. Many Chinese restaurants nearby! Overall an excellent stay!

Hotel is small but modern, good location not far from train station not far from city center so it is very convenientStaff was very helpful, we had some minor technical issues but it was resolved very quickly. Room was very clean, single room is small but adequate. Room has mini bar and complete vanity set which was very helpful. Also bed was very comfortable.

Room doors are not very sound proof and you can hear everything from hallway which is not for a light sleepers.We were in period which is considered off season and it was still very noisy from street.Breakfast was good but a bit disappointing because everyday is literally the same and not lot of choice and if you stay more than 2 nights you would like to have some variety.

My second stay at Hotel Globus was even better than the first — and it happened to be on my birthday!Jasmine made me feel truly special with VIP treatment: a beautiful spacious room, and a thoughtful card with wine and chocolates waiting when I returned in the evening.I was touched by the kindness and care — a perfect way to wrap up my journey.
