Great location, great breakfast, great service from the staff and great value for the price.

Terrible never recommend or go back I asked the owner to reimburse me for the room with no response

Shower with a window in it that would not stay closed it had to be taped shut The shower for did not close fully so that the water would come out on the floor The lighting was poor My wife couldn’t wash her face in the sink properly because the mirror frame stuck Out from the wall too far There were steps to the bathroom that in the dark getting out of bed was very dangerous We paid the same price per night as people that we were traveling with and their room was 100 times better

This is a bed and breakfast, not a hotel.

The property is not a hotel; it is a bed and breakfast that is advertised as a small boutique hotel on Booking.com, which is misleading. Check-in takes place at the hotel located across the street, after which guests must go to the B&B, situated in the building opposite, on an upper floor. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and guests are charged if towels or bed linens are changed before the scheduled date. Breakfast is very limited and served at a large communal table with other guests in the main room. Only small frozen croissants are offered with eggs , cereals , biscuits , available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the breakfast overall is very poor and looks small.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

This is a super cute Hotel which is managed by lovely people. The highlight is the location. So close to many great sightseeing spots in the city. Special thanks to Silvia for advices and talks.

Personally, I cannot complain about anything. To be honest, I expected less and was surprised.

There unfortunately was a problem with the AC but a good alternative was already in place when we arrived.

This small boutique hotel strikes the perfect balance between the charm of an Airbnb and the convenience of a well-run hotel, without any of the usual Airbnb hassles like cleaning duties or waiting around for someone to let you in. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. A special shoutout to Sylvia, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival so much smoother.The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a stylish, cozy atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, much larger than what you'd typically expect in central Florence. Breakfast was great, served around a large communal table that encourages a nice sense of community among guests. For those who prefer more privacy, there are also a couple of smaller, private tables on the side. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the old town, which we actually appreciated as it offered a quieter, more local feel while still being close enough to all the main attractions.The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located on the first floor of a traditional building and does not have a lift. If you're traveling with heavy luggage, it's something to be aware of but for us, it wasn’t a big deal.

Amazing staff, clean and comfortable room, spacious and cozy breakfast area with an amazing breakfast, nice park nearby for children. We will definitely stay there again since we truly felt like home.

There was nothing not to like. Just have in mind that there is no elevator.

Great location within walking distance to all the main attractions including the AC Fiorentina football stadium, Academia Galleria, Duomo etc.Loved the day to day residential neighbourhood for local people watching. The host lady was very warm and charming - she kindly arranged a small bottle of complimentary Prosecco for my husband’s birthday

Hair dryer - I’ll recommend you pack your own in the suitcase.

Host could not have been more helpful with her welcome and was keen to provide for gluten free.The decor was cool and. The breakfast dining table very stylish .Good spread of items at breakfast and delicious soy cappuccinos most appreciated.

Location was a little far but we were walking in rain so that exasperated the distance .Fabulous helpful car park and attendant .

I found the breakfast to be poor and the coffee not great.

Due to the sincere attitude of the staff and home furnishings, we felt like we were living in a family. There were a lot of details that show classic Italian interior.The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious

It was really cold on the ground floor ( the air conditioning didn’t help much). Some furniture needs renovation. And you can hear the noise from the neighbours

Great stay at Alfieri 9. Silvia is a very friendly and helpful host. She even let us check in early as our room was ready on arrival. Very nice quiet neighbourhood and comfortable room. Location was very convenient as it's on the verge of the ZTL so we parked on Piazzale Donatello right around the corner to unload the luggage. It's about 20mns walk from the Uffizi but there is so much to see in the streets of Florence that it feels quite quick.
