Pros +
- This hotel in a perfect quiet location across the river from the train station and within walking distance from the heart of Florence. The rooms were clean and nice and the complementary breakfast provided each morning was excellent.
- Staff was great, especially Said behind the bar during Happy Hour each day. Breakfast staff was very accommodating; working very hard to get more food when there was a run on coffee, eggs, etc. Front desk staff was very helpful w/directions, taxi, etc.
- The breakfast and the staff seeving at breakfast.  the bar was very helpful.
Cons -
- Air conditioner was not working, and they did not fix it even after telling them
- The room was warm but we also stayed there between seasons (Winter and Spring) so they probably did not switch the unit from heat to air. We just opened the window and it was fine.
- Bathroom...1) high stepover to get into shower, 2) grout was a bit off color; simply old or a deep cleaning needed?, 3) need semi-circle shower curtain rod; curtain was constantly stuck to our backside when showering. Dual mattress compressed unevenly.

The breakfast and the staff seeving at breakfast.  the bar was very helpful.
This was not a 4 star hotel. Our room could do with a refurb. The walk in shower has mosaic tiles missing from the floor and the bath would have taken about an hour to reach reach a decent level. Too many gimmicks could be more practical.
