Hotel Nizza

The hotel was in an excellent location near to Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the train station. Walking distance to local tourist locations. The staff and communication prior to arrival was excellent also. The hotel is rustic, and lovely inside, the rooms were clean and the linen and towels changed regularly. We were 6 adults on a trip to the 6 Nations so fior us the hotel was perfect as a base. We would definitely book again. Thank you for a great stay.

The toilets were a bit on the small size, however, they were very clean and tidy.

Family stay with 3 kids. Perfect location, good breakfeast, special thanks to Michelle, always with a smile.

392We really liked the room, it was spacious. The hotel is superbly located; you can easily reach all of Florence's attractions from there. You have to go up some stairs to access the hotel with your luggage, but they tell you this when you book. The only downside was that everything was full when we arrived, so we had to leave our luggage at reception until check-in, but other than that we had no major problems.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights. We enjoyed it very much. The location was close to everything we needed; grocery stores, eateries. We would definitely stay here again!

shower is too narrow

Location and price were good.

The first thing you encounter is 20 or so steps you have to carry your bags up. Took a 2nd look at the Booking.com description and don't see that, but their confirmation highlights that it's an old building. Lots of stairs to get to reception.Opening to the shower was about 11" wide. Think about it.And the water in the refrigerator was in a glass bottle, with the caps just screwed on (no tamper evident seal). Must have been previously used and refilled. Soap bars are really small.

Great location, friendly staff. You can also leave your suitcases after check-out, which is very convenient. The room is bright and spacious for one person. Drinking water was provided in the room:)

It's a pity that I don't have heating in the bathroom and more powerful heating in the room

The location in Florence was very central indeed. Although near the station, it was in a pleasant quiet street. We were there for Beato Angelico on our wedding anniversary with booked appointments. It was on in two locations: St Mark's Museum and Palazzo Strozzi. It was easily walkable.

The lift was very small indeed and just fitted two people and our light cases. Unfortunately the light went off in the lift as we got in and we were locked there in the dark for a short period. The light did come back on but it was rather disconcerting.

Every small detail has been carefully considered, from the quality of the towels to the comfort of the bed and duvet.These thoughtful touches make a real difference during a journey, creating a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

The hotel is gorgeous and historic. Breakfast is great. The area is very nice and it is close to everything.

The shower and bathroom were quite small.

The hotel was central and close to sights, a short walk from main train station. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was small for our family of 4 but adequate, Beds comfortable and room was warm. A little noisy but expected for the location and it didn’t stop us from sleeping. A Kettle in room to make a hot drink ( which we appreciated) and free still water provided each day. For the price we were happy with the hotel and location.

To get up to reception there is about 20 stairs, something to consider. We had heavy luggage but could easily manage it, it is to be expected.

Flight of stairs to climb with your luggage! No air conditioning and the window is on the street which is very noisy all night long. Tiny shower.

The location was perfect. Real downtown between Santa Maria La Novella and Santa Maria Del Fiore. The price was also very good. Room very spacious for 2 people.

Excellent breakfast, great location and very friendly stuff. Room was clean and spacious. 5-10 minutes on foot from all the most important attractions and museums. Recommend to stay 100%

Location. Rooms were large, clean. Nice bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent value for money. Very friendly staff.

The lift but then we could use the stairs and there were only two floors.
