Pros +
- Clean rooms Nice staff good breakfast
- Close proximity to train station and walking distance to the main attractions in Florence.
- Everything was fantastic and I would definitely recommend. And the breakfast was the cherry on top.
Cons -
- There¿s one small elevator in the entire building. Reception lobby is on the second floor and you have to take the stairs up from the entrance. Not convenient if you have luggage to carry with you. Rooms are outdated and walls are thin and noisy.
- For a four star hotel, I did not expect paper cups for coffee and a plastic tumbler only in room to drink out of even in a standard room. 10 stairs to climb from front door to lift.
- Room was right off the lobby so very loud. Walls so thin I could hear the people next to me speaking st just normal volumes. Whoever was working at the desk had a phonw or computer on high volume and I could hear every-time it got a notification.

Great location. Large size rooms. All staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included.

room was amazing and big. location was a 1 min walk to the piazza and a 5 min walk to ponte vecchio...
The location was really good few minutes walk to all sight seeing areas also the Mr in the reception was very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was very good and the croissant was baked fresh while we are having our breakfast.
Location. Room was large and modern.

Likes- Nice location. Close to Duomo and other major sights. Also reasonably close to Santa Maria Novella station, but carrying heavy suitcases would be a bit difficult ]- Our triple room was large and spacious and looked beautiful. Extra bed was large and comfortable. - Bathrooms look good.
Things that we didnt like- Breakfast spread was relatively spartan, compared to what we experienced in other hotels around Italy. - No free water provided by the hotel- The hotel works on the principle of AC heating in the winter and early spring months ( we were in 1st week March). So the room tends to become very stuffy and theres no air circulation . We had to open the windows in the night to get some fresh air in. - Electric points to charge gadgets are provided in very inconvenient locations/- For some reason, the water flush pipes run through the wall partitions , and one could hear flushing sounds particularly in the night when it is quieter- Morning crews coming to take the trash on the road outside the hotel can become noisy. - Reception is on the first floor, so one has to lug one's bags up the first flight of stairs that has about 10 steps (give or take) and the lift is quite small , Also bellhops or assistance to take/bring your luggage is not offered by front desk
Breakfast was normal not much variety. The location is really good.
The hotel is rather dated and so were the rooms.
Location was great, close to shops, restaurants, and walking distance to some key attractions
Elevator was too small, actual hotel was smaller than we expected.
Located in the heart of Firenze, only steps away from the famous Duomo, and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, as well as many more sites, restaurants and other attractions. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a nice shower, toilet with bidet, hair dryer, small refrigerator, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was much nicer than expected, and included scrambled eggs, sausage, as well as some mozzarella balls, cold cuts, and fresh baked cornetti (croissants). We were charged a pet fee of 16 Euros per night to bring our dog. We had called the hotel and already knew about this, and we are very grateful to be able to bring our dog along and that he is welcome in this hotel.Overall we enjoyed our stay very much, and will definitely consider returning to this same hotel the next time we visit Florence!
Be aware that you will have to pay a tourism fee. For us it was seven Euros per day, per guest. This fee varies from place to place but is very common in Italy and Europe in general. This is not a fee by the hotel, but a requirement from the local government. Although the description did state this, 7 per person per day is a little higher than I have seen in other cities. We did love Florence, and it is quite popular, so we understand why it might be higher there.
The location was good, the room was big, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good
- The elevator having to stop at the first floor every time got quite annoying real fast.- There was construction on the street outside and they started working REALLY early.- The bed was just two single beds pushed together, very uncomfortable, they detached from each other pretty quickly.
Perfect location and very friendly staff.
Breakfast was a bit sad, not a big choice
Staff super friendly and helpful. Location amazing
Very tired hotel. Room nothing like the photos so very run down and basic. Food very basic and average too unfortunately. We were planning on staying two nights but left after one and moved up above the river to Villa Agape which we can highly recommend to others.
Fabulous location Friendly staffComfortable room
Only location
Water was running out of the air conditioner in the night
Everything about the hotel was great expect the shower door was broken.
Shower door was partly broken. Car parking was expensive.
The breakfast was non existent at 9:00 no more eggs no more cold cuts. Coffee was cold and bitter.
Tell people in advance that the parking is off site and expensive. Your site stipulated that you have parking I was not expecting a 40.00 +euro charge for parking.
location was ideal from train station and on a less than busy street. walking distance to anything you want to see.
Can’t find a fault other than lot of steps if you don’t want to wait for the only elevator.
Very central. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff
The lift has a frustrating stop at level 1 when you are going up or down.
