Nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Nice location that is close to most of the attractions.

There is a city square in front the hotel. In one night, there is a few hundred people having a party in the square till 2 am, very loudly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints at all.

Bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the shower drain was mostly clogged, so a brief shower threatened to flood the bathroom

Super central location. Helpful and kind staff. Love that they allow pets. Bathroom recently remodeled and large.

Room was old and needed update. Paint peeling off walls. A/C did not work well and it was very hot in the room. I told the staff and they tried to fix it but it was still very warm. Pillows are extremely uncomfortable (flat and hard).

Location was good because the hotel was close to the duomo. The room was clean.

It was extremely noisy due to the large number of people yelling and singing in the plaza directly in front of the hotel until 2 am.The room was too small.

The location is very good, 15 min walk to get to the heart of the city. Had a vehicle and though located in the ZTL, if you pay for parking with the hotel, they park your car at a garage and took care of the permit for the ZTL and never used the vehicle until we left. Stayed one night. The room we stayed in was a little dark and out dated but was very clean and the beds were good. Can’t complain!

This was our second stay. The staff was very kind, helpful and gave us good and reliable advice when we asked for it. Francesco at the front desk was very accomodating, as was the management who upgraded our room for free, and to a room with a view on the central square. Our rooms during both stays were large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. The location in the centro historico is superb, close to all the sites, with excellent restaurants and the supermarket Conad nearby. I have recommended it to friends and plan to stay there on my next trip to Florence.

A comfortable room. Good location, and within walkable distance to many top tourist attractions.

Sadly, our sleep was seriously disrupted by two mid-week nights of non-tuneful loud trumpet music playing (one night included some shouting/rapping) in the square late at night through to the early hours (3am). We were given no warning prior to booking/on arrival. The hotel were aware of this regular weekly group gathering outside the bar opposite. So, is a nice hotel but with unchecked and annoying unsocial late night gatherings likely to disrupt your sleep.

The location in relation to the duomo was great. The breakfast was wonderful with a barista that made excellent coffee drinks.

I called ahead to upgrade my room to a superior room. When I arrived to my room it looked identical to the standard, even though I was charged for superior. I asked the front desk numerous times if I was given the right room and they told me they did upgrade me, but the photos did not match. Booking.com said my room would have a street view, but I had a room of inside the courtyard, which the standard room had. I fully believe they just ripped me off here. The room had zero air circulation. To prove that, I washed some clothing in the sink and hung it to dry in the bathroom for 2 days. My clothes were still wet. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows old. There were mosquitos everywhere. I’m pregnant and I was worried about mosquito borne infection. Lastly, I could every sound made throughout the hotel at night. Down to the upstairs neighbors cell phone ringing/their partying. Honestly, I would not stay here again for the price.

Great location for exploring the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, showers were hot. Beds were comfy, a little short for a tall person like myself, but clean and comfy!

The location is amazing! The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The piazza right outside the hotel was beautiful.

The mattress was extremely hard. Our room intermittently smelled like sewer. The WiFi is really bad.

Excellent location. Historical plaza. Nice outdoor plaza views. Elevator service. Excellent breakfast. Staff making fresh orange juice very nice cappuccinos and espresso coffees.Vending machines are available.

Administration staff, reception staff could have been more friendly and attentive. Bathroom exhaust fans were noisy, rattling. Bathroom facilities, shower, toilet, bidet, and sinks were all backed up on our final morning, and sewage started to backup. No real urgency to resolve issue. And again no compensation for this horrible issue that forced my family to use downstairs main lobby restroom. ?

The only positive thing about this hotel was the staff — the reception, cleaning, and kitchen team were all exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly. They truly did their best to make guests feel comfortable. A special mention goes to the senior gentleman from the breakfast team, who made the best coffee we had in Italy — a real highlight of our stay.

Unfortunately, everything else was quite disappointing. The location was very noisy, with loud events outside continuing until 3 a.m. The room was cold, and the towels smelled strongly of vinegar, which made the stay uncomfortable.Additionally, the hotel never responded to booking messages or requests, which was frustrating and unprofessional.

In the whole hotel there was not a single lounge chair to sit comfortably.
