Pros +
- Great location, spacious and very silent room, excellent facilities, fantastic breakfast, easy communication and friendly staff.
- Lots of boutique hotels claim to be "palaces." This is the real thing, with a truly noble sense of color, of materials, of quiet elegance. I felt cocooned in an oasis of ideal beauty. Sophisticated staff and management make you feel like you're in your own home.
- Magnificent common rooms and excellent breakfast! We stayed in a gorgeous and well appointed room.
Cons -
- Nothing, would highly recommend
- Street noise was a bit much, but when you are in the center of any city it is to be expected.
- The tap water smells a lot of chemicals like Lox and my hair is very rough. The tap water pressure in the bathtub is so weak that it takes more than an hour and a half to fill the bathtub. The breakfast start time is very late compared to other hotels, so if you start the schedule early, the breakfast cost may be a waste. In general, the food boxes given are not cooked products, but simple biscuits sold on the market, so there is nothing to eat.

A beautiful place, central location and excellent staff.
Nothing, would highly recommend
A very clean and comfortable stay. The rooms we hade were spacious. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and service was excellent.

Three nights in Florence was a special experience. I stayed comfortably in a spacious room and was comfortable because water and snacks were always prepared to drink. The omelet, salad, and coffee I order every morning were the best. Above all, the location of this hotel is really good, so you can walk around all the tourist attractions and stop by in between schedules to drink water and rest.

Elegant, clean and well kept. Breakfast was AMAZING!
The walls could be a bit too thin for light sleepers as it’s an old building. If you’re a light sleeper I recommend you contact the hotel beforehand so they can help you choose a suitable room. The noise from the street wasn’t a problem for our group.
We stayed in a charming and stunning loft apartment that exceeded all my expectations. The view of the garden made us feel as if we had our own private sanctuary, creating a sense of peace and intimacy throughout my stay. The palace itself is breathtaking and wonderfully cozy, blending elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the palazzo were exceptionally friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed.Exploring Florence from a palace right in the heart of the city felt like stepping into another era—a truly unforgettable experience.I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both comfort and a touch of magic in Florence.

Rooms were really luxurious and the location was absolutely fantastic!
There was only one thing we weren’t happy with which was that whilst most of the staff were excellent, the woman who was running breakfast on 1st December was not very friendly and left us waiting for around 20 minutes before we were served.
Nice central location. Staff were very nice. Good breakfast. Rooms were spacious.
Impossible to sleep in the street-facing room I had. Every night drunk passerbys would be yelling in the early hours of the morning. I shuttered all the windows but it still did not help. I was in Florence in late November - not even close to peak season. I can't imagine how bad it would be in the summer. If your room faces the street, don't expect to get good sleep.
One of the best hotels in almost every respect
One downside was noise from a party held above our room. It was very loud, known to the hotel, and lasted until after midnight.
Everything! The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, the location— elegant, tasteful and romantic.
We loved the entire experience!
A beautiful authentic Florence building full of elegance in the centre of Florence.
Beautiful Palazzo. Delicious breakfast outside in the garden. Loved our first stay here.
Didn’t like the room this time as the bed headrest was on ground floor level directly at street level. Very noisy & didn’t feel private as windows to bathroom open to courtyard. In contrast our earlier stay was faultless & the suite very beautiful, quiet & private.
Gorgeous place!! The ambiance, decor, breakfast and the garden was excelent. We enjoyed our stay and come back for sure.
My room was absolutely Beautiful!! The breakfast was very good. There was a lot to choose from on the menu. The afternoon tea was wonderful to come back to after a long day of site seeing. Excellent location. We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. We receive excellent customer service from the staff. Can not thank them enough for all their help.
The bathroom shower door did not close properly to keep water from going on the floor. This was the only fault I could find with the room.
Great staff, helpful, informative in history of the property, delicious breakfast, and wonderful garden.
Bed creaks a lot when I get up.
Beautiful historic building conveniently located for the sights of Florence and a short walk to the central train station.
Nothing! Everything was excellent!
This is a beautiful property. The location is perfect and the staff were amazing. The attention to detail is outstanding and this is a hidden gem in Florence. The rooms are beautiful and large and completely soundproof. The breakfast was beautiful and served in their garden or rooms. You should experience the elegance of this property once in your lifetime!
