Hotel De Lanzi

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was good. The location was excellent.

The shower was horrible with water getting all over the floor. There was foul smelling sewage gasses in the stairwell up to the lobby.

elevators a little old and small, breakfast supervisor seemed to watch everything we took to eat although we were rather frugal.

Great breakfast, location incredibly convenient to Duomo and shopping.

A/C did not work at all. Parking is a huge pain to get to. Park well outside of the city and get a bus in.

Great location, half a block from the Duomo and the center of Florence.

It was great. We've stayed at this property before and they upgraded thee rooms which made it even better.

The staff was so helpful and kind. The location made getting to anywhere in the city easy and no time at all.

Having to drop off our keys when leaving felt like added work but to be honest that wasn't really a big deal. It was more something I wasn't used to.

Our stay at Hotel Di Lanzi was ok, Location & Breakfast was very Good, our room was just adequate, tired decoration, Table Lamp not working, Aircon not brilliant, no carpet on floor, but on the plus side the room, bedding & Towels wrre all clean, reception staff were friendly.

Furnishings could have been better, and actual comfort should be improved.

The staff were kind and helpful! The room was not fancy, but was very nice and was perfect for a solo traveller.

The luggage storage procedure was to set the bags on the terrace, I wished that the luggage storage was more secure. Luckily, I did not have any issues from this!

1 min walk to the duomo! Great location! 15 mins walk from the train station! Very good breakfast

Not that spacious room

The location was outstanding - close to everything and majorly walkable. And being able to se the duomo from our hotel room was exceptional! The breakfast was ample and so appreciated that it was included in the rate. The rooftop bar was a special place that we visited daily.

The room was very small for 3 people (2 adults and one 16 year old).

I can’t imagine a better location if exploring center of Florence. One block from the Duomo, 5 minute walk to David, right in the heart of Medieval treasures.

Ideal location. Less than 50 meters from the Duomo. Easily within walking distance of almost all major sites in Florence. For anyone with walking difficulty, the staff will call a taxi that appears within minutes!Nice, typical Italian breakfast buffet, with a nod to European tastes - you won't find any runny scrambled eggs!My room appeared to have been recently renovated. All modern amenities, clean, and quite comfortable.

It rained often, but I don't think Hotel de Lanzi controls the weather. Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like. The location is excellent. The staff are very professional and eager to help with logistics, restaurants, anything to make your stay more enjoyable.I stayed here for three days last October, prior to meeting a group touring Tuscany. I liked Florence, and Hotel de Lanzi, so much that I decided to return for an eight-day stay during the Christmas holiday. I was pleasantly surprised to see they did not inflate their rates for Christmas like so many other hotels do. When I return to Florence, this will be my go-to hotel!

The location!

We had to give the keys back every time we left the hotel but the hotel staff are available 24/7 so unless you want to keep valuables at the hotel it was not a big deal. The breakfast can be better.

Perfect location, good staff and nice breakfast, the facilities are a bit old but its good value for money
