Very comfortable bed, bar, and installations in general.

Breakfast, even though big, the quality of the ingredients is not so good.

Within walking distance to Duomo, Cerretani has the best location and very clean rooms, the breakfast was good too. Consierge was kind enough to make dinner reservations for us.

The lobby smelled bad but its not a lobby you can spend your time at so not a big issue

The location was a very short walk from the Santa Maria Novella and so many other sites, restaurants, shopping and the train station. Our room was quiet and dark making for great sleeping conditions. The breakfast was very good and the service was exemplary.

The water for the shower was lukewarm at best. The selection of english speaking television stations was extremely limited, which is not a big deal since we were not in the room much, but it is nice to relax before going to bed by watching TV.

Wow!!! Best customer service ever. This hotel has impeccable location. Don’t think twice, book a room immediately. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very big.

The location was great and the room size was very big.

The breakfast buffet was not very good. The front desk staff was very friendly, but not housekeeping. There were a lot of small things that added up, like our power went out twice and there were some dirty towels provided.

An excellent stay in the very heart of Florence. The location is outstanding, just steps from the Duomo and within easy walking distance of all major attractions, shopping, and restaurants.The room was elegant, quiet, and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable bed and high-quality linens. The atmosphere of the hotel blends historic charm with modern comfort perfectly.Staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always ready to assist with courtesy and efficiency. Breakfast was varied and of very good quality, served in a pleasant and refined setting.Overall, a flawless experience. I would highly recommend Hotel Cerretani and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

Absolutely nothing: everything was impeccable!

The hotel has a great lobby and great, modern rooms. The hotel is also in a great location to the Duomo and the train station.

The smell! The lobby and our room smelled like there was a plumbing issue.

Greed and Neglect – A...

Avoid this hotel at all costs. The experience was appalling from the very first minute.• Shameless Greed: Before I even finished checking in—literally within 60 seconds of arriving—I was asked if I wanted to "add a tip." I hadn’t even seen my room yet! To demand a tip before providing any service is beyond unprofessional; it’s predatory.• Hostile Reception: The front desk is incredibly mean. They are so rigid that they refused check-in over a 2-minute difference, even though the room was ready. Their only concern is the tip, not the guest.• Unsanitary & Messy: Housekeeping is nonexistent. Hallways are cluttered with dirty linens, and the storage areas look like a literal trash dump. The entire place feels filthy.• Safety & Infrastructure: No bellhop to help with bags through the locked revolving doors. The elevator is terrifying and shakes violently at every floor—I had to take the stairs to feel safe.I felt so uncomfortable that I was genuinely worried about my belongings in the room. This place is a disgrace to the MGallery collection. Pure greed, zero service.

Location was decent but there are other properties in the same or better location

Staff - very cold and non-courteous. Something as basic as helping the guests with luggage was also denied by the front desk. For the price they charge - this is the least that is to be expected.

Location was perfect the staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly.

It was very clean with everything you needed, great bathroom , room cleaned twice a day with complimentary water and chocolates, comfortable sleep.

Staff in the breakfast area were very nice. Room comfortable. Location was great, could walk anywhere conveniently.

Smell when we enter the hotel was not nice, too strong and unpleasant. In the room was good. There were many mosquitos in our room.

The door of the room felt a bit old

The location of the hotel is amazing. 7 minutes from the train station. 2 minutes away from the center. I would definitely stay again if I were to go to Florence again. The breakfast is also complete. Rooms comfortable and very nice amenities.

Although there was an issue upon our arrival, they couldn't find our already prepaid reservation, which would have been a problem if there was no room, they served us well in the end. The staff is kind and available to serve.
