Pros +
- The style of the hotel felt elegant.
- Location and staff were excellent.
- its an old palace with unusual but very atractive interior with tiny staircases, each room nicely combines the medieval time with modern lifestyle, beautiful breakfast room with panoramatic view on Florence, wonderful location, nearby the city center
Cons -
- Rooms are dated and in poor condition. Mould in the shower, broken handles. The walls are paper thin and we were kept up every night by the neighbouring rooms. Main floor entrance smelled like sewage.
- it was difficult to find the main gate, reception was located in the first floor and the main door was closed, it took us time to understand how we can get in, but this did not influence the postive impression from the hotel
- No complaints at all.

Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Eva, the breakfast attendant, was magnificent and very responsive to our request. There was wide variety of food that was well prepared and fresh. The staff was unbelivably helpful and made every effort to make our stay a memorable one - which it was. The suite was WOW!! We were within easy walking distance of the train station and all of the attractions. I cannot imagine a more perfect location and service than what we received during out stay.
No complaints at all.
The location, the interior and the story
The noise outside the hotel due to some instructions
Literally everything about this place was amazing. It’s an absolute gem! We were so happy that we stumbled across this hotel when booking. From the care and attentiveness of the staff, to the history of the hotel, to the beauty of the hotel and rooms! Seriously, an amazing stay!
There was genuinely nothing to dislike. An absolute perfect stay!
Staff was amazing and special thanks to Mr. Andrea. Location is perfect close to everywhere and has excellent view. Breakfast is good.
This property is absolutely stunning. The location is an easy 10-15 minute walking distance from many of the major historical landmarks in the city. The element that really set this place apart for me was not only the gorgeous property and spacious room, but the customer service. Believe me when I say that this staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. If I ever visit Florence again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

This place truly stands out with its exceptional service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is also perfect — close to key attractions yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s rest.
A few things could definitely be improved. There was no assistance with luggage upon arrival, which was inconvenient. Also, basic amenities like a toothbrush were missing. The in-room TV didn’t allow app downloads or support AirPlay, which limited entertainment options. A few upgrades in service and technology would really enhance the guest experience.
The location and the staff are welcoming and joyful.
In some rooms the closet place in the middle of the room, not looking nice. Considering rearrange the interior..it will be good idea. Thanks
I loved the breakfast buffet - the variety of sweets and proteins was excellent. I especially loved having the ability to make fresh fruit smoothies. The service there was superb and the breakfast area and lounge with the relaxing music in the background was lovely. The hotel's location on the river and near the St. Regis ballroom where I was doing a dance competition was top notch. The rooms were a nice combination of modern aesthetics mixed with a nod to the historic charm of the building and its architecture. We loved the unique design of each of our rooms!
The only improvement I could suggest, specific to my situation, would be to have brighter lighting in bathroom area. (Since I had to do performance makeup, I set up my makeup area on the desk near the window.) At the end of the day, it was completely fine, and really everything was wonderful.
Amazing setting in an old city Manor.Impressive ceilings!Great breakfast
The location is perfect and the staff very helpful and attentive. The history of the palace makes the stay amazing.
It’s a charming boutique hotel set in a stunning, historic building. The check-in experience is truly unique, with a welcoming host at reception who shares fascinating insights about the building’s history and Florence as a whole. The location is excellent—within walking distance of all major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.
What a last-minute lucky find! I'm normally a Marriott guy using points where I can, but Florence doesn't have many affordable options. I'm glad they didn't because discovering this place was such a win for my short trip to Florence. The ceiling of my room looked like the Sistine Chapel! The history behind this place is incredible and just eating breakfast in the grand room was like eating with royalty. If you want an affordable place to stay in Florence with some character that's close to just about everything then I recommend this place!
Nothing really. Overall just a great place to stay.
The hotel was in a great location, close to all the need to see places. Anastasia was amazing on check-in filling us in on the history and where to go. The property/palace has incredible history within its wall and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Tha Location, The Staff Superier can,t express how cooperative, cheerful and welcoming they were. I thank them all.The hotel I recommend For those who like the heritage ، not recommend for pepol looking for luxury hotels. great experience for all my family .
the Noisy out side the hotel . becuase The hotel building is old style and not insulated. but was not big issue.
A beautiful hotel and when you arrive you are told it is actually an active palace that you are staying in. We stayed in a river view room. The room was beautiful with amazingly high ceilings. We loved the breakfast room too!
Our stay at Leone Blue Suites was truly wonderful. The location was perfect, and the 500-year-old building with its beautiful interior offered not just comfort but a sense of connection to Florence's history. The rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds and quality breakfasts each morning. It was quiet and cozy, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the charm of the city
The staff was friendly and helpful, our room/suite was lovely--very spacious, comfy bed and a gorgeous painted ceiling--breakfast was perfect, and the location was conveniently located to walk to all the sights and restaurants we wanted to experience. Loved it!
