Cons -
- The location is extremely dirty, dusty, old, with broken and damaged items, and lacking basic amenities. The bathroom is shared, very small, and must be shared between 8 rooms.Inside the room:•No disposable slippers or towels were provided.•The room is extremely small (the size of a storage closet).•There is a strong smell of mold and stale air.•The door creaks and is very difficult to open.•The “double bed” consists of two single beds pushed together, constantly moving and squeaking.•The bed linen has a heavy, unpleasant smell.•The walls are dirty, scratched, stained, and clearly not maintained.•There is an old, dirty, non-functional fireplace in the room, occupying unnecessary space. The entire property is old, damaged, and unsanitary. The cleaning schedule is completely inappropriate:•At 11:30 PM, cleaning was being done in the hallway and on the stairs using a vacuum cleaner and making loud noises. I was only able to fall asleep at 1:00 AM after the cleaning stopped.•At 5:00 AM, the same elderly gentleman was washing dishes and preparing them in the hallway where breakfast is served, producing noise that inevitably wakes guests up.After a 14-hour trip, exhausted, all I wanted was to take a shower and rest. That was not possible. The conditions were so unsanitary that I physically felt sick.I do not recommend this location to anyone. It is miserable and cannot be classified as a tourism unit (neither guesthouse nor hotel nor any other legitimate accommodation).
- Confirmed room was non-existent. No one on duty after 7 pm. Keys are left in the open for anyone to grab and use. No safe available. Nothing but an expensive hostel. On 3rd floor. No elevator.

Safe your money. Go to a hostel

Location is awesome, breakfast is okay , balcony is very nice
Room size too small
Location of the hotel is excellent. All the sightseeing are very near to the hotel within walkable distance. Worth for money also.
Washroom is too small. Although its not possible but it would have been better if there would have been an elevator.
The location was fantastic. Good value. Interesting room decor. Friendly staff and breakfast included
Very cramped room and tiny bathroom.
Welcoming and friendly staff, a clean room, bathroom. Great location, in the city centre. 5 min walk from the train station
I got a message from the hotel on Booking.com app to verify my card. I followed the link and money, which I had to pay for the hotel, left my bank account. The next day when I When I got in contact with the hotel to check if they received my money, they said that they hadn’t asked me to pay, they didn’t receive anything. They were scammers. But no information is given on booking.com that this hotel asks for money to pay after your stay. When I checked out I had to pay again. I paired twice for this hotel. It is worth it.
For walking the location was excellent. For driving there, it was a challenge but manageable to pull up to the hotel.
No water pressure in shower.
Great location.
Very small bathroom. Stairs were a challenge.
Pros:The property has a look like if you were in transylvania (Dracula's house, very particular) we liked that kind of mystery.Property is located 3-4 blocks away from Santa Maria Del Fiore.
Cons:I would avoid this property in the future and warn others or suggest someone else to avoid booking this property until they change the payment method. Some properties allow you to pay one time or pay when the reservation is close to your visit date (directly on booking), but this one uses your credit card to lock the room and then you pay when you're on site. Reason for my dissatisfaction is because from all the properties that we have reserved in booking or airbnb, this has been the only property that was "hacked" 2 times and someone went into their account in booking and taking advantage that no payment has been done yet, they send a message about confirming your credit card information otherwise the reservation will be canceled, first time we avoided and we texted the hotel to warn about this. The second time it happened just a couple of hours before our arrival when we were full of bags, going to the train station, possibly no internet connection (so there was a lot of stress in that moment), the thing is, that the message came directly from booking and the website where we clicked had all our reservation details, so it was not someone just faking the interface, they also had every single detail that make it look legit (like reservation number), unfortunately, we put all our details and security code that is sent to the email trying to keep the reservation and don't loose it (our arrival was next day). This is part our fault, but as I said before, it was a stressful moment. I tried to mention this to the manager but the only response was that it was a virus and that we should talk with booking.com, but this is clearly not a problem from the platform.Fortunately, we could cancel the transfer on time but it ruined one day of hour vacations as we spent a whole day (Sunday) trying to call banks to reverse/suspend the payment and we also had to cancel the credit card in the middle of our vacations.

Air condition, gode senger
Slitent bad
Location was excellent, staff very helpful but English was not great.
Old and tired. Twin beds very small and various power points did not look safe. As we were three floors up the plumbing was noisy.
Room was clean and tide. It is on great location. Basilica is 8 min walk and the other church 4min walk. We had great stay there. You need to walk to highest floor to enter the hotel. No elevator in the building. AC in the room. Breakfast was nice with croissant, orange juice and coffee.
No elevator. Thin walls.
Location is wonderful
Bathrooms are a bit dirty and tiny
Lovely decor in each room, themed around an artist. We were in the Michelangelo room which had a large double bed and two singles. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good (juice, coffee with a fresh croissant, bread roll and American pancake each with cream cheese, butter and jams). The location is excellent and was within easy walking distance of all the main sites.
Location
Shower was small cube with shower curtain. Breakfast was minimal, one croissant , one roll, one small pancake, juice, coffee.
Location was excellent, price was very good and staff very friendly and helpful
very near city centre
Lots of noisy traffic and crowd noise throught the night
Staff location price
