The location was ideal, in the hustle and bustle of the city.

The bed was hard, there was basically no lighting in the room, the facilities were extremely limited and basic. We were amazed the reviews were so good when we arrived. The breakfast was limited too and basically half puddings.

The room is really quiet, the laundry service is easy and quick.

Some security concerns (door was left open by housekeeping on one occasion; overall approach of using codes rather than keys does not instil confidence)

The whole place is a total vibe. From front desk staff to breakfast, location, and ambiance. This is where we’re staying when I return.

The only think that could use improvement is the bathroom.

I’m usually very careful when choosing a hotel. I pay close attention to the room type, the location, and I compare the price with other hotels. I check the views, the room details — I analyze and compare everything thoroughly before making a decision.The hotel I’m reviewing now is located in the very best area of Florence. The design and overall aesthetic feel truly luxurious and refined. There is also a beautiful lounge area for guests, which is absolutely stunning — from the color palette to the interior design and overall atmosphere.The staff were excellent, and the breakfast, although small and simple, was of very good quality.I will explain more in detail in the section below regarding the negative points.

The hotel offers two types of double rooms: a Classic Double Room and a Superior Double Room. When you look at the photos of the Superior Double Room, you see different layouts, including rooms with a double sink and a bathtub placed in the middle of the room. It creates a very special feeling — especially if you’ve had a long journey and want to relax, or if you’re traveling as a couple and looking for a more unique experience.For that reason, you overlook the price difference between the Classic and Superior categories and choose the Superior Double Room.Unfortunately, when we arrived late at night after a long trip, we were given a room that had neither a bathtub nor a double sink. In my opinion, it felt no different from a Classic Double Room. I discussed this with the hotel, explaining that this was not what we expected. They insisted that since the room was larger in size than the Classic category, it qualified as a Superior room.However, the photos shown under the Superior category clearly display bathtubs, double sinks, and city views. We did not have a city view, and we couldn’t even properly open the window — it faced a lower-level area and nearby buildings, which made the atmosphere quite disappointing.We expressed that we were not satisfied. The hotel offered to change our room the following day and mentioned they had availability, including a duplex-style suite. Although that room was better, the bathtub was inside the bathroom, not placed in the open layout as shown in the photos.Since we had arrived late and were very tired, we decided not to change rooms. The next day we spent the entire day exploring Florence and only returned late at night to sleep, leaving early the following morning.I explained that this situation was not acceptable and that, at the very least, the price difference between the Classic and Superior categories should have been refunded. Unfortunately, no refund was offered.

The location terrific. The ease of the personal code system for access. Breakfast great.

Room was down long winding hallway which felt a bit isolated especially knowing no one at reception. If I returned, I would definitely ask for a room closer to the stairwell.

Room is a little bit too small for a long stay with lot of stuff, but the storage space under the bed is useful

Property is exceptional. All the small touches are accounted for. Staff is friendly, helpful and really cares about their guests. Location is fantastic, it could not be better. Breakfast was great. And again, the staff - everyone we interacted with, couldn’t have been more professional and nice. Absolutely no negatives.

Clean, comfortable and centrally located

Not easy to find

Loved the location. The honesty bar was agreat idea sadly another room put all their drinks on our room but thankfully it was rectified .

The bathroom has no storage to put our stuff. Other than that it was great.

Perfect location, walking distance for many attractions. Something unique compared to big hotels, really loved my stay here.

Could have been 10 of out 10 but breakfast options can be better.

Location, very good breakfast, very helpful staff. We enjoyed the common room and a glass of wine in the afternoon.

A more comfortable chair in our room would be nice.

Located very centrally in a quiet side street. The hotel is decorated very tastefully. Fixtures and fittings are period, renovated to a high standard.

Slightly noisy air conditioning. Although it was easy to turn off and have the door to a secure courtyard open instead.

Great location, beautiful interior, bedroom was comfy and clean. Loved the honesty bar.

We got married the Saturday in Italy, when we stopped here it was the Monday after to start our mini moon off. A small gesture like a free drink or even a coffee would have been nice.

Everything was great! We liked the location because it’s right in the centre, beautiful interior, very nice workers, cozy!

It was very loud in the night and we didn’t sleep good..

The hotel is beautiful, the staff was super helpful and there are small extras like cake and an honor bar. Breakfast was delicious in a sweet dining room. The location is also first rate.
