Hotel Art Atelier - Place of Charme

Great value! Near the Central train station! Hotel employee gave us a free upgrade and our room had a bathroom with a window (so it didn¿t get too hot after taking a shower)! It was the first hotel that had a window in the bathroom in Europe!

Perfect location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast !

My room seemed to have a cleaning odor a little too strong

The room was beautiful, clean, and easily accessible. The location was walking distance to so much in Florence. The breakfasts were very good, and offered excellent options for gluten intolerance. The staff was terrific. In particular, James an Paulo were incredibly helpful and hospitable.

The fact we had to leave.

Room temperature cannot be controlled; 3 nights in a row 26 or even 27 degrees, which is very uncomfortable given the thick blanket, and too wasteful to keep the window open; the room is basic; quite over-priced considering what you get

The sink of our room was damage. The water doesn't goes down.

Welcoming and gracious staff, great location near train station, within walking distance to Central Market, Duomo, nice shops and restaurants.

Steps up to the bathroom and the tub/shower - Tricky to get in/out and the glass door/partition was wobbly.

The cleanliness is beyond what’s expected . Amazing for 4 star hotel . Very very close to Santa Maria novella , Florence main station , like 1 minute away . The food is ok in breakfast , fresh and clean and delicious .

Although the street where the hotel is located is a bit tight for cars but it was not a problem for us , we walked out and uber dropped us back 5 meters away like 20 seconds away :) highly recommended.

Location was great, not far from the train station and just a short walk to all major attractions. Hotel was clean and staff friendly.

Location and staff - we loved how central the hotel is and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

The rooms are not sound proof. The next door room’s activities and the toilets flushing all could be heard.

Lovely hotel in a great location for all the brilliant sightseeing available in Florence. Room was spacious and quiet, very clean. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. Helpful friendly staff.

Well, I didn't know how close this hotel was from the Florence Central Terminal; First time in Florence, and I arrived from Milan. It was just about five minutes from the station. You don't have to take a cab or subway. I ended up paying sixty Euros by signing up on a website for taxi of less than ten minutes ride. Don't ever use the cab service in Florence. Any rate, every attraction and interesting points were within walking distance, including many casual and fine dining restaurants. If I travel to Florence, I will go to this hotel again. And very reasonable price as well.

The front door to the hotel opens very slowly. Be careful and patient. But it slows you down, and make you take a breath.

Breakfast. Staff was very friendly and professional. The location was superb.

For that star rating and the price, I expected I bit more luxury.

The hotel was amazing. Just up a side street very close to the station and the main attractions were all within easy walking distance. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely again very clean. We were at the back and didn’t hear any noise at all. Bathroom was really big. Had toiletries and a hairdryer in there. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice and everything really fresh. We would definitely stay here again if travelling to Florence and would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay

Couldn’t find fault with anything hotel was amazing

Fantastic breakfast and location. Very clean, even the glass for toothbrushes and the boiler for coffee.
