It was an amazing stay. Hotel was stunning and our room had a centuries old fresco.

Good hotel in outstanding location.

The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much bother. The room was lovely with a view over the rooftops to the Duomo and the location was ideal in the the historic centre of Florence.

We loved it all and would highly recommend the hotel!

Aesthetically, as soon as you step foot into the hotel, you are blown away. It is stunning with forgeous detail, fantastic service from every staff member and the place smells divine! Every day our rooms were cleaned well and the turndown service was also lovely - a littlw chocolate is put on the pillow every night.

Our room was excellent in many ways, beautiful, clean, well designed. The hotel is in a great location, 5 min walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

Our room was forgotten to be cleaned on our first day, we came to the room to relax around 17:00, it was still how we left it in the morning, we communicated it, then it was fixed after we went for our for dinner.

Location was perfect, in the middle of the city a walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good. The family room I booked was spacious with a window overlooking the main pedestrian street. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

The bathrooms for the junior suites was very small. Breakfast could have more hot/savory options.

The hotel location is in the center , everything is within a walking distant , the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, they gave us recommendations on nice restaurants , amazing staff!, the breakfast is nice , good selection

Room was amazing a wonderful mix of old and new. The bed was very comfortable. The staff who checked us in was excellent and we were treated to an upgrade and champagne! That was not expected! Really was in awe that I stayed in a property that was once a home and the oldest hotel in Italy!

Location

They were quite understaffed. Check in time was taking too long. Turn down time was too late and bellboys get annoyed easily. We had several luggages since we were a big group, but bellboys we’re easily annoyed. One of the rooms given to us had leaks from the ceiling in the restroom where we had to change rooms almost in the middle of the night. Lastly their reception button call redirects you to a private number where the person on call got mad.

They upgraded our room from a junior suite to a full suite with an extra half bath. Beds were comfortable. We had no view but plenty of light. Great central location. Staff helpful. Interesting renovated historic structure.

Everything was pricey, including 35 euros a night for or small dog, for 5 nights. Breakfast buffet was ok, but not special and hefty fees for any requests. An evening meal in restaurant was uninspiring. Poor instructions for those being dropped off in a private car and phones were being upgraded so hard to get through.

Fantastic breakfast so much choice but also if there is something you want they will get it from the kitchen.

It would have been nice to have a lounge area there are a few seats in the lobby and that’s it.

The building, the room, the breakfast, and the very warm and welcoming staff!

That I didnt book more nights! :)
