    • The rooftop terrace was the best part. The location was unbeatable.

    Cons -

    • Our room was too small. Had to duck to enter the bathroom to avoid hitting my head. Burned out light above the bed and broke this to attention of the staff and was told it would be fixed, and for our stay (7 nights) the was not fixed. Electrical Plugs
    • No. Everything was perfect.
    • We had a broken shower door and there was no lock on the bathroom door! Also the beds were two separate twins and it made it very hard to sleep with my significant other besides me without falling in between the beds. We booked a double room not a twin.

The location was wonderful! Room was always clean and breakfast in the morning was great

There was no AC in the room and when we would open the windows there wod be many mosquitos that entered. The room needs an alternate way of cooling since you can¿t keep the windows open

    Perfect location

The hotel is old and because of that if you¿re booking the hotel in the winter the rooms are not updated enough to hear approximately. The whole time we were there I had to wear sweaters at night. The hotel is still a great place to stay.

Central to everything. Breakfast room and rooftop bar are really nice. Beds were comfortable, and I can be picky.

This is going to sound weird, but I think I would have liked more pictures on the walls. The hot water was more like tepid water, but felt refreshing after walking all day.

Ovation and ambiance. The tower was incredible and unforgettable.though there were 87 steps to the top and an amazing view it seemed liked less and absolutely worth it. Thanks for the hospitality

Not much except getting into the hotel. Making sure there are people to instantly open the large gate doorkr ateast soon. Perhaps a code. Thanksis for a great stay

We loved staying in a 13th century Palazzo with its own tower and incredible views of the city. And we loved our room.

    I can’t think of a thing

Dreamy hotel in historic building in a very quiet narrow street in the historic city center. The style of the room was also historic, but comfortable. Lovely modernized marble style bathroom with a very luxury shower. One of the two bedside table lamps was broken but the staff immediately changed it when I told them.

The building interior is beautiful and the breakfast room was palatial! We loved the large rooms and the morning breakfast were exceptional! I would not stay any place else! This place was unbelievably beautiful! The location was perfect for visiting all the sites.

I have no complaints. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The roof decks was amazing. I also loved the breakfast. Lastly, I appreciated the shared space on each floor since rooms small ( but efficient).

    Fabulous location; very helpful staff

Beautiful building; it’s too bad the renovations do not match up with the architectural standards.

I had a room for 700 euros and something. I booked a room for my boss for 900 euros and something. In the end, I had a luxurious room on the first floor, and my boss had a modest student cell on the third. It was a very unpleasant situation. You are misleading customers, and this is a bad joke. I still have to apologize to my boss. And it was impossible to change the room to another one.

Loved the location as it was easy to get to and was easy walking distance from everything. Lots of shopping, beautiful views of the city, amazing basilicas, museums and restaurants all within a short walk. The staff was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had. The breakfast is buffet style and was good with plenty of options. Just right for starting the day of exploring the beautiful city of Florence.

As silly as it sounds, it was quite chilly during our visit. The thermostat was on heat and it wouldn’t turn off. We couldn’t figure out how to set the temperature and it would get very warm in the room. Easy solution, we opened a window at night and drifted off to sleep with the sounds of horse drawn carriages traveling down the stone streets.

The top-notch service from the staff, the location was close enough to the action yet not overrun by tourists and the rooftop view were all incredible (it takes a couple extra sets of stairs to get to the roof so it isn’t something somebody with mobility restrictions can participate in).

They allow dogs which is great but be warned that Florence has very few grassy areas if that’s something your dog requires. There is no grassy areas within 10 minutes of the hotel but we found that the best place dogs could use grass is at the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Plan accordingly and you’ll love every minute — the roads leading to and from the hotel is somewhat stressful due to the heavy streams of clueless tourists wandering into lanes of traffic but that’s all part of the trade off of residing so close to the center of the action.

The view from the top was sensational. The lounge area, the breakfast.

The most important was the staff. Everyone was so friendly. Daniele at the reception was magnificent. Organized prosecco and roses for my wife on arrival. The staff were so accommodating. We will definitely coming back to this hotel.
