Incredibly friendly and helpful staff; beautiful room and interiors; centrality of location - perfect for sightseeing.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and well-maintained! The staff is wonderful! Giacomo greeted us so warmly at reception. Dritan, the waiter, was very nice at breakfast, and Aymen kindly helped us check out when we were leaving. We have a very good impression of the people who work here. This is very important! Thank you!!!

Location is excellent, room was huge and comfortable, staff were super friendly and charming. Cannot recommend enough!

The stay at Dimora Palanca was great in all aspects. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Giacomo is super. He’s very attentive, joyful and helpful. As well as all the other staff including the reception, breakfast/kitchen and the cleaning staff. They made our stay perfect. The place is very well maintained and is so cozy we felt at home. The quality of rooms is very high and the cleaning is impeccable. Highly recommend. For sure if we visit Florence again we are staying.

The decor of the hotel was beautiful

The location is a bit further out of the centre than I thought and if alone walking back late at night felt a bit uncomfortable

this is not a five star. Our room was tiny and very tight for two people. Overall the facilities were not five star. The spa was basic and the sauna was sitting room only.

We had a lovely stay here. Room was clean, nicely appointed. Easy walk into the centre of town. Good parking for our hired car.

The staff manners and attentiveness are superb!I am very grateful, I have a shoulder injury and they facilitated my visit with the Dr in , they procured the medications from the pharmacy.Elisa made sure the taxi drivers knew I needed help! Whenever I needed to go out to run errands .My recovery , healing and emotional well being during my stay, was mostly due to the great support from staff!At times I could not even use the knife to cut the food and the server would cut my food for me !The use of their wonderful spa contributed as well to my fast recovery!All staff performance deserves a 110% out of 100 %

Big enough room. Walkable to city Centre. Comfortable bed.

It’s located by a very busy road. The service is below what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. We wouldn’t have our water and coffee refilled on multiple occasions. It was our honeymoon and we did not receive any special treatment (despite informing the hotel and getting their reassurance that they will make it special for us with a surprise waiting for us - very anti-climatic). The hotel was also trying to charge us for a rental of a car, which we didn’t make. I can’t recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, extremely comfortable and about a 15/20 minute walk to the main piazza of Florence. We utilized the spa and it was extremely relaxing after days of walking around Italian cities. Bed & linens were comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional for a hotel. It all felt very luxe.

The parking was expensive and difficult to locate. It’s in a busy and not-so-nice area of Florence BUT you don’t see any of that once you’re in the hotel so we can’t fault them for it. The only real complaint about the hotel itself is, it’s heavily fragranced. If you suffer at all with sensitivity to smells you’ll struggle. I unplugged the scented wall plug and it was still very strong

Loved the place. Rooms are gorgeous with venetian broodiness. Our room had a spa on a loft and a gorgeous view of the canal and garden. The staff were very attentive.

The Dosudoro is a little bit out of the way but you can get a vaparetto easily st mark's square. Just know one way is 9 euro.

What a place!!! Amazing and beautifully kept building! The staff is super duper and deserves a separate star for their service! Spa was amazing! Parking is right at the hotel (for a charge smaller than most of the hotels in the city) which is helpful if you are arriving by a car. A short walk (10-15 minutes) to the main attractions means you can have more ice cream!

Fantastic Location on the edge of main tourist area. The renovation of the original Villa is exceptional. The rooms and whole property are amazing and beautiful. All staff were so informative and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous. Our room was very spacious. I could totally imagine a week in this hotel would be amazing! Enough space to unpack and use as a base. The attention to detail in this renovation is exceptional! I am going home to attempt to include some of the Reno in my home!

Breakfast was good

Location was on two very noisy roads and sound insulation in rooms is not sufficient. We did manage to move rooms, but the room was a downgrade.One particular member of the desk staff was very unfriendly and condescending. Other staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly – nothing was too much trouble and they really made us feel welcome.The room was spotless, nicely decorated, and extremely comfortable – a perfect place to relax after a long day. We slept very well throughout the stay.The bar had a solid selection of drinks, while the spa was a lovely bonus – clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind.Overall, a great experience. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and warm hospitality.

Beautiful property, clean and spacious. Only 10-15 walks to city center, but quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there.
