Great location at the heart of the touristy place

walking from/to train station with luggages. No elevator in the historic building - the host was very helpful with luggages.

The Italian breakfast had perfect selections of meat and cheese, breads, pastries and coffee to start the day. The location was perfect. On a quiet street that was close to everything.

The long flights of stairs to enter. Understand that this is an old building and that there is no lift, but four long flights of uneven staircase with luggage is not ideal for a stay especially when arriving. Saw other customers struggling to take their items down as well.

Well, where to start? Calling it a hotel is a stretch. It’s located on one of the floors, sharing the location with a number of different tenants. I got a single room, and for some reason, it made me think of the movie “Hostel.” It really feels like they tried to squeeze every centimeter out of that place leaving very little room for a room.

The hotel is in an excellent location - right in the historic centre, but tucked away in a quieter nice street. Walking distance to all sightseeing, with plenty of restaurants and a grocery shop nearby. Windows are double-glazed and didn't let in any noise. The family room was spacious enough, with comfortable beds and a good shower. All staff were friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Camilla !

Stairs, Stairs, Stairs! No elevator. Minimal breakfast.

The reception is at the top of 54 high steps no elevators and at the last minute I was sent a message that I might not get help with luggage. Room not as advertised, clean but had mold in shower. Breakfast area also not as pictured, no covers on plug outlets. AC barely worked and no view at all only into an indoor courtyard that was noisy and smelled.We stayed honed all day to avoid stairs for my 77 year old mom. They did help us get a taxi to the airport and we appreciate that. We had to wait for someone to come help us get our luggage down as a favor though.The price was as much as our hotel in Switzerland with an amazing view on the lake of Geneva. The breakfast was not very good either.

2nd floor without lift... even though if it contributes to the charm of the place

Good location. Just about 15 min walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station and we were able to walk to all attractions as hotel is located in the heart of the city. Breakfast was simple but good, and I enjoyed it every morning. Both Room and bathroom were sizable and clean. Good wifi. Air conditioning works. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only set back is that they do not have an elevator, and hotel is located on level 2 (which is actually level 3 for some of us if our ground floor is taken as level 1). And, they did warn us when we booked. So if you do not have a leg problem and strong muscles to bring up your luggage, this hotel is value for money.

The location was brilliant, so close to everything. Some nice bars and restaraunts on the same street. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and looked like it had recently been upgraded. Breakfast is typical continental foods.

You aren’t warned about the stairs up to the hotel which were hard to navigate.Wifi was slow.

Bed was too firm. Even though I was told the hotel was on the 2nd floor, didn’t expect 50-60 stairs. As I was on a month’s holiday I did have a large bag which was difficult to get up and down the stairs. Lucky I was travelling with my daughter as we were able to help each other with our bags. No assistance was offered.

Great central location, staff were exceptional. Room small but very well appointed.

The stairs up to the reception were difficult with bags but we were warned before hand. Not for anyone with health issues. We managedbut was a bit difficult.

Great location. 5 minutes walk from the train station and ideally located for all key sites and food outlets. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, very modern and the bathroom was spotless and well cared for. Room a bit small but had everything needed and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Room next door had a balcony and if people using it, can be a bit intrusive. Would have to close curtains. But it is a minor inconvenience for such a lovely place to stay,
