Pros +
- The LOCATION . Also a safe box, though No breakfast available, many cafes near by.
- Very conveniently located, good sized room for two and helpful staff.
- I loved the location, a quick walk to most everything I wanted to see. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were excellent very communicative and helpful.
Cons -
- No room for suitcases, the desktop was too narrow to open up a carry/on. A twin instead of a double bed would have allowed more space.
- There is a bar downstairs and it can be a bit noisy at night especially on weekends.
- It was nothing fancy, but had all necessities and was clean and comfortable.

This was a very last minute booking. The hotel contacted us via the booking app with info on where to locate them and how to check in. The entrance was not anything fancy (as there are multiple “hotels” in the building), but it had a small industrial lift just a few steps up and that went right to the hotel floor. Check in was very personalized and easy. Room was very quiet and had quite a roomy bathroom and shower.

Great location and friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent restaurant - La Spada across the street.
In the center of townFree water machine
Extremely noisy as there is bar below the rooms bathroom had mold on walls. Shower hose leaked everywhere.
Perfect location - Clean and the staff were kind and helpful
The room is too small and barely we can put out luggages
Excellent location, clean, simple and comfortabale
Great location, our host Daniel was great and gave us lots of information and tips.
Beds were very uncomfortable and AC did not work well.
Clean and comfy. Quite close to many tourist attractions, shops and easy access to metro
Super small.
The location was good as it was close to the main square. When checking in, the staff was accommodating and let us leave our bags there for a few hours while we converted some money to pay them.
The lift—which was one of the only good parts about the hotel— could barely fit 3 people in it. The hotel itself is old and shabby. Our room was cramped and entirely overpriced (before this we had gotten an Airbnb apartment unit in Rome that was 3x the size with many more facilities AND was right next to the Colosseum for the SAME price). The AC in the room wasn’t the kind that was easy to adjust, and even on the coldest setting we could barely feel it, so we were sweating throughout our whole stay there.
Best Location in town and everything works very well!. Air conditioning works fine, refrigerator, vault, TV worked good. Loved this place overall and would return
There are few items which can be imported, like shampooing, soap bars, but nothing we can’t buy to have more quality!
The location is good, you are a few steps from Santa Maria Novella piazza, and just 3 blocks from the other important palazzos. Property is located on a 3rd floor, there is a lift that accommodates 2 people. Staff was very polite in general terms.
Unfortunately, the property is very poor in terms of modernity, cleanliness and space. Towels are “transparent” (showing years of use), bathrooms are tiny and old. Also, our bathroom had a terrible smell. We rented two rooms, in one of the rooms the A/C got broken, staff knew about the issue and failed to inform us in due time. At night the A/C had a major water leak and poured into the room creating a mess. We demanded some sort of solution, it never came. Owner or manager refused to create a solution, we decided to leave the property. I would never come back.
The location was great, as it was about a 7-minute walk to the Duomo and 5 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio, and a 3-minute walk from the train station. The room was extremely clean and spacious, accommodating both my friend and me comfortably. They had a water filler in the hallway to fill water bottles. It was super convenient, so we didn't have to buy water bottles, we could refill. The AC worked great, which was needed since it was hot outside.
Location was great.
Room is quite small. Bed was ok ( a double bed, a stiff mattress, stiff pillows). Loud music from the pub directly below the hotel.
Easy check in and check out. Clean and hot shower. Small fridge and a safe were a nice touch. The aircon worked great. The nespresso in the hallway was a great start to every morning and is included in the price of your room. The staff members were lovely and provided ways to get a hold of them after hours which was reassuring.
Unfortunately, while the location was convenient, even with the windows closed and air-conditioning on, the nighttime noise from the sports bar a few doors over made sleeping impossible. The worst nights were Thursday and Friday until 4 am. Although we still heard noise until 3 AM on Saturday. We come from a big city. We understand what noise is. But this was really loud. The only way we got sleep on night three was with earplugs and gravol. This is no reflection on the staff just something to bear in mind if you value sleep. This feels silly to add, but my daughter had a total of 10 mosquito bites (and found 3 live mosquitos in the room) over the 3 nights ie. there were no screens on the windows.
The hotel is very well situated, barely 10mn away from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) and right in the city center, so very close to all the main sights. You can do everything by foot! The property managers were very welcoming and super accommodating: they let me check in early and were really helpful. The room itself was very decent: clean, functional, comfortable. Mine had a separate bathroom on the opposite of the hallway but that was clearly explained when I booked it. Overall, very happy with my stay there.
The main building entrance (which is not part of the hotel I believe) is kind of run down and could be cleaner. It’s also a tight space so not ideal with big luggages. There’s also a few steps to reach the elevator so unfortunately I don’t think the building is autonomously accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility difficulties.Once again, that might be out of the control of the residence.
Staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. Location was great
Room was very small
Staff very friendly and accommodating and the location
The noise at night from restaurants and bar below. Didn’t sleep well . Had to use earplugs and even that didn’t help much.
Location and good size room
