Easy walk to Boboli gardens and Florence landmarks. Good parking.

Heat was lacking. Very cold in our suite.

The location was great. Across the road from the hotel is a large park with an art school in the middle. The street (Vialle Machiavelli) is lined with trees. The hotel is set back from the street and has space for parking at no additional cost (in more touristy seasons, availability of parking may be a challenge). Our room was on the first floor. The room price included breakfast, which was decent.

The first room that was given to us was on the second floor. Upon inspection, the shower stall had only half of the door/wall present (this was an accordion style door/wall with two halves that should meet in the middle to create the stall). There was no way to make it work without being able to close the two halves. The positive part was that the staff was able to switch us to another room (advantage of the low tourist season).

A nice hotel, relatively close to the city center.

The room felt a bit outdated, and the breakfast was average

Feeling of a grand old estate on a leafy and quiet Main Street in an upscale neighborhood near Porta di Roma outside the city walls on the west side of the Arno. A respite from the noisy and tourist-packed city center. 30-minute walk to major sites may not be attractive to some but it was perfect for me. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Nice breakfast in garden setting.

We were in the apartment in the back of the hotel and was very outdated and there were some bugs maybe ants in the room. We just stayed to spent the night, the staff very friendly and pleasant, the place has potential but it was not too comfortable. The breakfast was lower than av erage.

Our favorite feature was being able to park free in the courtyard. There is an elevator. This could be a great place with some needed upgrading. The room was reasonably comfortable.

It's a bit of a walk to the Uffizi, etc., but we just allowed more time (and we are in good walking condition.) There are no real common areas for sitting, just older couches in the entryway. The window in our room was shut tight with indoor and outdoor shutters. Even after opening the indoor shutters, we couldn't see out or get any light. But worst was the breakfast conditions. Breakfast is served outside in the garden under a cover which does NOT keep rain off your seat cushion or pigeons out of your food. I wanted to gag after seeing pigeons sitting in the bread basket. And it was windy and damp, and my clothes got wet sitting in the breakfast chair.

The breakfast in the courtyard was delightful!Great to have espresso machine on site and good breakfast options.

I’ve stayed here many times over the past 20 years. The bathrooms need some renovation to modernize these. The single bed sheet and only one tiny pillow per person takes away from the cool villa experience.

Very well located for visiting Firenze, while searching also to have a parking spot for your car as well as some fresh air around. The location is 20min walk from the Pallazzo Pitti, 5min away from the entry in the parco Boboli, e 30 min walking from the Duomo while passing the most famous bridge in Firenze.

The breakfast is acceptable but it can be enhanced.

Great location, easy to get around and into center of Florence, the hotel is in quiet location surrounded by lots of trees and close to the Bomboli gardens. The breakfast options are very good and offered in a beautiful garden. The staff was welcoming, accomodated to our requests and very helful to provide information . The room was very clean

The beds were not confortable and could use updates in their mattresses

Lovely historical vila changed for a hotel. Little bit worn out but it gives it the nice patina feeling that goes alone. The staff is really kind and helpfull. The position is perfect - it is situated in a calm neighborhood but walking distance to all the historical sites.

The breakfast would need little bit of vegetables and a slice cheese maybe? The cleaning was poor - hovering the carpets and proper dusting in between the guests is really a base and I doubt it was done properly before our visit. Not talking about the everyday cleaning that could be done on demand only.

    9AndrewPosted on: 4-28-2025

Clean large rooms. The hotel has a nice outdoor seating in the garden.

The breakfast selection was a little limited.
