Pros +
- Unique hotel with classic rooms and great outdoor area on the 3rd floor to enjoy food and drinks. Breakfast was delicious and staff were awesome.
- It was breathtaking— the view of Florence from our window made me gasp and stop to savor it. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable, with good reading chairs. The location was superb— a shirt walk from plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and wine cars. A short walk to all main attractions. Extremely warm and kind staff.
- Very helpful staff and beautiful room. Fantastic location with good breakfast.
Cons -
- I didn't care for the room that much. It wasn't like the pictures from the website at all. Also it said it was air conditioned but the room only had 2 fans and it was extremely hot
- Not much bad to say. Only thing would have been nice is to have a desk, sitting area in the room with all the space for people traveling for work.
- Shower holder was a bit broken.

Very helpful staff and beautiful room. Fantastic location with good breakfast.
Shower holder was a bit broken.
Terrible WiFi. Old and run down rooms. Staff was great. Very overpriced for what you get. Great rooftop bar. I would not recommend staying at the hotel just only go to the rooftop bar.
Staff were excellent. Made our stay. Fantastic location with restaurants close to major attractions. Roof top patio is rated top 5 in Florence which we got to enjoy every morning with breakfast. The staff and team held spots for hotel guests for peak times for cocktail hours at night. Restaurant recommendations were personal and fantastic. We enjoyed one of the best steak dinners that didn’t break the bank. Family room was large and had a separate area for the kids. Fresco on the roof just adds that you are in Florence. A “palazzo” in Italian literally means “palace”, but in practice it usually refers to a grand, historic building, often from the Renaissance. In Florence (and much of Italy). 100% would stay again.
Stunning room for a great price considering the location! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
The friendly staff and classic surroundings. Excellent breakfasts, and light lunches in the loggia
Historic location and building, friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooftop bar!
Beautiful old palazzo with antique furniture. Very atmospheric. Friendly staff.
Great hotel with lots of character and charm. Beautiful terrace and large, comfortable rooms - the beds are great. Very nice breakfast and lovely, welcoming staff. A faultless stay, we will return!
Nothing!
Great location and helpful friendly staff. Lovely, distinctive rooms. Delicious breakfast - fresh, tasty and plenty of choice.
staff was amazing, everyone took care to ensure my stay was perfect. View incredible from my room overlooking the piazza below and the rooftops of buildings
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Could not have been more accommodating. They knew our names after the first day. Hotel is perfectly located - close to everything. Large rooms and bathroom. Great rooftop terrace looks over the beautiful Santa Spirito neighborhood. Can't say enough - No complaints.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect; walking distance from everywhere you would want to visit, but away from the crush of the main tourist streets.
Excellent location, charming bedroom with amazing views
The room was large and charming. The view from the terrace was amazing. The temperature control was good. The location was excellent.Breakfast was very good and good value.Staff were helpful.
The bed was a B- level. mattress was not luxurious. The pillows were very hard, clearly B- level at best. The amenities were minimal, no slippers, no robe, ok products.
We’ve just spent two amazing nights at this fabulous hotel in Piazza Santo Spirito. The rooms are spacious and full of character. You can sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening drink on the rooftop terrace. The hotel is located in the Santo Spirito neighbourhood, a short stroll to Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace, and Boboli Gardens.
The room was large and quiet. The loggia for breakfast or drinks is perfect with a wonderful view. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great location.
The room furnishing are sparse and ok. The mattress is acceptable. The pillows are not good, they are hard. When I asked for a softer pillow they didn’t have an option. There were no slippers or rope in the room. Products were ok.
I loved everything about the hotel. The location, my bar, my room, the staff. I didn’t want to leave! And the neighborhood it is in is local and quiet, with so many great restaurants close.
