Hotel Palazzo Benci

The walls were dirty, room was hot, staff was ok. Woman at front desk with long hair and glasses was very rude and would not hold our luggage even though she held someone elses

The staff was very nice. The location is great. The Duomo is less than 10 minutes away walking. The area felt safe with many restaurants and markets minutes away. The rooms are comfortable.

Remodeling and updating the rooms should be a priority. They are nice and clean but furnishing is dated. Had Wifi but had a few problems with connection.

Excellent informative staff and very accommodating with luggage, cabs, sights and restaurants.

Great location!! Close to everything, train station, monuments, restaurants and bars.

Some rooms are very small and tight.

The hotel location was great and only a few minutes walk to the train station with many restaurants nearby.

Our room was small with only a desk chair to sit in and the bathroom could use better lighting.

My single room had a huge bed so there was no extra space in the room. I had requested a one twin bed room.

Fantastic location! A 10 min. walk from the train station. Rooms are small but very comfortable, excellent breakfast choices included in hotel rate. Many restaurant choices just on the same street and very close to the Central Market for even more food choices. Only 10 steps away from the Medici Chapel, a must see! Could not believe the wonders inside.

It was clean and comfortable. So close to everything. Breakfast was good. It was quiet we didn’t hear any street noise. We would stay there again if in Florence.

Of all places we stayed in Italy, this breakfast was our least favourite. Need a better coffee machine or quality coffee and more selection of meats or warm food.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station, the staff were warm and helpful, and the rooms were exceptionally clean.

There was no kettle in the room, which was a minor drawback.

The property was very well located for most of the things we wanted to see. We were traveling by train and it was very convenient to the train station. The room was very clean.

The shower drained so slow it flooded the bathroom floor the first night. They were able to fix the issue two days later.

Had so much trouble getting to the hotel (late evening) we gave up and stayed somewhere else and just forfeited the fee.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Palazzo Benci. The room was super nice and modern and clean. The location is ideal since it is close to everything you need to visit in Florence! The breakfast was also great! The staff were super welcoming and helpful. I really recommend this hotel! I will be coming back for sure!

Only downside is that they give 1 towel only (extra cost if you require another one)
