The location was a five minute walk from the train

The air condditioning did not work at first and when we asked about it the desk clerk told us that noone had complained all summer about it. he was able to get it running for us but it did not work well

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and walkable to all attractions in Florence. This was one of the few hotels that had beds for a family of 4 available which was really nice. The AC worked very well (40C heat wave).

Hallway smells a bit like mothballs but the room did not smell. Breakfast was nice. Price was quite high.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was wonderful

Pillows were flat and mosquitoes in the room

The room Was to dark and cold

Staffs are really helpful. location is perfect for us, close to train station and walking distance to everywhere.

Bed are not comfortable, too creaking to sleep. I cannot move. but everything else is perfect.

The wireless internet didn't work during our stay. This was a major inconvenience, as when you travel abroad without cell service you are dependent on wireless respites to look up directions, stay in touch with home, etc. I wouldn't have stayed here.

Street noise, thin partitions between rooms, bathroom equipment in need of repair, heating in the room does not always work

Very friendly staffs, especially the young lady that's attending to the guests during breakfast ! Great breakfast ! The front desk guy even let us checked in early after a long trip ! Thank you so much.

Cleaning solution is a little too strong.

The accommodation is very high-quality and well maintained. The reception staff are helpful and kind, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Everything meets all needs perfectly, and it is very close to the train station, restaurants, and major attractions. I can only recommend it!

What was disturbing, although it was not the hotel’s fault, was that the neighbors on the upper floor were noisy in the evening, but this does not detract from the hotel’s high-quality services.

The entrance and area were iffy but the staff and breakfast made up for it. Great location for the train! Staff recommended a great restaurant for dinner and tour options.

We had family room with 1 big and 2 separate bads for family of 4 (kids 17 and 13 y.o.)Liked a lot the location, the spaciousness of the room, clean facility, clean sheets, clean toilet/shower, staff hospitality, good basic breakfast, felt safe and very welcome even with our dogs ❤️They are really trying to make you feel well cared for!

Beds are not the latest trend but we slept really well! The only reccomendation for change is for the blankets (if you see them by chance ;-)

Good location and breakfast. The room was decent size and had a nice old-timey feeling.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable - two singles tied together. The room was cold when we got into so we had to wait for the heating to settle down. The shower could use some pressure and hotter water.

The hotel is near train station which was great. The room was clean and bathroom was nice. Heater worked well. They let us keep our bags after checkout

The room setup was awkward, one room inside the other. The beds were small and not very comfortable and the bedding was not very warm. They forced us to pay in cash for the city tax, which meant we had to take out cash from ATM and pay lots of fees for a small payment during our final days in Europe.

Great variety of food to choose from for breakfast and very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious annd the hotel stay true to the old history and antiques from Florence.

Nothing particular that we did not like. Only suggestion would be to maybe re upholster the chairs in the corridor to make it feel clean and welcoming to sit o

The location of the hotel is very comfortable and acceptable for me. The staff is the best, friendly, warm. Smiling and attentive, the morning breakfast was very tasty and they had everything fresh. The room was clean and tidy as possible. The room had everything needed for a guest. I will definitely visit this hotel again and will always recommend it.

The only thing I didn't like was that there were no sockets for the phone next to the bed in the triple room. The double bed had one only on one side and the single bed somewhere towards the feet which was a bit inconvenient. However, this is insignificant in light of the other monk's good.

The location was superb.

Noise travels between rooms easily. A rubber door stop or similar where the toilet seat and lid hits the wall xould help a lot i think, and cost hardly anything.

Nice staff, very welcoming and polite. Room was clean.

The hotel is old, the corridor smalls of moisture strongly. The floor above was doing reparations so there was a loud banging noise from 8 am. Breakfast was limited to coffee, corneto and toast.

the mattress in the room was worn-out which caused backache and poor sleep. the hotel management needs to check the beds and replace the old mattresses

Everything was fabulous! Great location, excellent value, warm room (on a rainy day), comfortable beds, filling breakfast…couldn’t have been happier or more satisfied.

Nothing- everything exceeded expectations

Everything went well staying here! particularly the staff were wonderful. Location is perfect for seeing Florence by walking everywhere. Breakfast was unbelievable and the room beautiful. Highly recommend.
