after finding a parking spot for my car we walked to down town Florence ..hotel is about 15 min beautiful walking distance to down town...close to bars restaurants and shopping center

Everything was excellent. The location is great, with the cathedral about a 20-minute walk away. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The people were extremely kind, friendly, and always willing to help. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this place.

A mattress is a bit saggy, a shower’s door is inconvenient to use, possibly broken

Nice older hotel close to the centre of the city. Parking in public parking very close to the hotel for 15 eur per day.

You can hear your neoghbor coming late in the night back to his appartement.

The hotel offers paid parking nearby, which was convenient since we drove there. Check-in was pleasant — the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming.When we entered our room, there was an unpleasant odor, so we opened the window (which thankfully had a screen) to air it out. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was manageable, and the bathroom was clean, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, I was bitten by several mosquitoes during the night. I later noticed that the hotel actually provides an electric mosquito repellent on the nightstand — something to keep in mind for future guests!One downside to our stay was an interaction with another receptionist. When two of our family members briefly came up to our room to drop off shopping bags — no more than two minutes — they were scolded by the staff for being on the property. It was my mistake for not checking the visitor policy beforehand, but the situation could have been handled with a bit more courtesy.Overall, the hotel has some positives like convenient parking and friendly staff at check-in, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness, comfort, and customer service consistency

What I didn’t like about the property was the strong odor in the room when we first arrived — it had an unpleasant smell that required us to keep the window open overnight to air it out. Another major downside was the mosquitoes; I was bitten several times during the night, which made it difficult to get a good rest.

A warm and inviting little hotel, with rooms offering space, well presented and the essentials. Staff were welcoming and responsive to questions. Thanks Hotel Bologna!

It’s a little walk to main spots, but didn’t bother us. Some stairs into the hotel but then there is a lift.

The location was great.

You can hear people coming and going all night. There is air conditioning and it was very warm and stuffy. Hotel does not allow you to use AC during October. That should be mentioned at time of booking.

It's a nice and very clean hotel that is well located - everything is within a 25-35-minute walk. The building is old with its charm, but well-maintained. The bathroom is spotless and has good pressure in the shower with a bidet. The staff is super nice and ready to help however they can. Rosella at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Rosella, you are the best!If you stay here try the local bakery - Bar Poppagalo for morning coffee and delicious & fresh pastries and drinks in the evening. It was recommended by the staff and didn't disappoint.

We couldn't figure out the heating. It didn't work well. The days in Florence we were cold and the heater barely worked. Also, the towel dryer in the bathroom didn't work or we didn't know how to turn it on.

The people working reception were all extremely welcoming and fun to talk to. Comfy beds in a nice old style hotel. We would stay there again.

A really nice and well maintained hotel a bit far from Florence but really good if you are driving your car, A good public parking is nearby about 5 minutes walking. Personnel were really welcoming and helpful. It was a short stay but we had the chance to enjoy our morning cappuccino at the breakfast. Breakfast was simple but coffee was fantastic. Central air-conditioning system was working without any problems. Bathroom was clean as well.

Everything! I strongly recommend it! Very comfortable bed and very clean room. The bathroom all new! Plus the staff are very very kind, always ready to help you and make your stay better. Definitely I would come back here.

The location is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and spotless clean. Staff is kind and very welcoming.

The place was very clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, close to the river, and only 30 minutes on foot to the city center.

The hotel was filtered out by Booking filters as having a parking. However, the parking is not available at the facility and the staff recommended a public parking or a garage. This was inconvenient, since most of the garages were full and the same situation was with the public parking spaces in the block.

Good price.Good location. Walking distance to everything we wanted.
