- The location was great! The room was great!
Cons -
- wireless internet unavailable over a two day period. Would be 9/10 if internet was working, or serviced in resonable timeframe.
- No complaints
- The morning staff seemed very overwhelmed. We did not get all of the breakfast foods that were available, however, the only person on duty seemed very overwhelmed. The coffee was very very very stale.

The first impression was the young lady at the desk, "Giulia" who made you feel important and was very professional. Since I knew my room would not be ready, she took care of my bags and offered a cappuccino, as well as a map and directions to nearby attractions. During my whole stay, she was most helpful and made me feel that I mattered. She truly is an asset to the hotel.
Small details help to distinguish a boutique hotel from others. 1 - A card on how to operate the TV and the language preference, and the channels available. Clean the TV control.Maybe improve the mattress.
The location was great, less than a 10-minute walk from the bus and tram stations, and all the major attractions. There a lots of restaurants nearby and the area feels safe.
I had a terrible time finding it, as the signage was small and hard to see in the dark. Additionally, I didn’t know how to get the door to open. Fortunately, another guest came by and explained it. Note that the outer door is very heavy, and I had a hard time pushing it open.
It was a very nice quiet with beautiful rooms. Staff was very nice. Also in the city center and close to train station.
Hotel was a little difficult to find at first because there was no big sign.
Best location in Florence. Staff was responsive to every question. Staff was very helpful Hotel was very clean. You felt like you were immersed in Italy.
Water pressure in shower could be better.
First off the hotel was beautiful and our room was certainly special and well appointed. But the young lady that did our check-in and check out went above and beyond. She was helpful, cheerful professional, and did her job well. Both my wife and I believe she is an asset to your company And you should feel very fortunate to have someone that is passionate about your property as she is as well as her level of customer service..
Beautiful building and gorgeous bedrooms with stunning frescoes. Ideally located too.
The hotel is wonderful - great location, excellent staff, and my room #1 was the best I could imagine. But when I had to extend my stay and moved to a smaller room #7, it reminded me a prison sell. That room needs to be eliminated not to interfere with the reputation of the hotel.
Breakfast has very poor, limited choices. Room #7 is extremely small and uncomfortable.Other rooms and customer service, ambiance and location are outstanding though.
Julia at reception is amazing. The location is perfect. Rooms are beautiful.
Great location, and the airconditioning worked really well (which given I went in July was essential to me!). The room was well set up and comfortable
Julia was friendly and helpful. She speaks 4 languages fluently. Location to train station and away from the main touristy area but close enough to visit. All the major attractions are close by. Water and coffee were always available.
The bed and pillows were too hard.
Everything was great. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The frescoes in each room were lovely and really added to the ambiance. The location was perfect.
Beautiful courtyard building with nice decor and many cute little nooks in the interior for your to relax, I am in love with this hotel. The room is small, compact and very clean, comfortable bed and quiet, perfect for a short stay. I also love the receptionist and the owner (?), they’re very friendly and attentive, quick to response as well when I needed something, very welcoming. Location is also perfect, it’s just steps away from the train station, super walkable to many attraction like the santa maria church. As a first time traveller to Italy (and Europe), grazie mille for a wonderful stay. I love Florence and this hotel!
Beautiful room, friendly helpful staff and convenient location.
Breakfast, historical building, supportive and wonderful staff.
Reasonably priced and very comfortable, but it was a single room with no window.
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Burchianti. It was the best hotel we have had in Italy. The painting on the roof, the atmosphere of the hotel, the breakfast/sitting room and the beautiful staff. Special mention to Giulia who made us so welcome and was so helpful. We give this experience 5 out of 5 stars or more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cleaniness,customer service,breakfast.
Location is walking distance to all the tourist spots and shopping centres, food is pretty close by too . The hotel space is so huge too ????
We loved the location, beautiful view on city with the church copula in the center. A breath of the old Florence!
