Pros +
- Palace Ridolfi met all of our expectations. We actually stayed across the street in a second Palazzo from the 16th Century. This lodging also had a staff member present until 2000 hours. The rooms were very spacious with modern conveniences. Breakfast was in the main building but was not an inconvenience. Eggs and hot beverages were made at your request. All the staff was very lovely and we especially liked Natalie.
- The staff is very helpful and provides a very good service .
- Perfect location, quiet, very clean and spacious.
Cons -
- Absolutely nothing. It is only a 20 minute walk to the Duomo, but much quieter than staying in a Hotel in the city center.Any request we had was promptly accomplished. One of the nicest places we have stayed while travelling to over 100 countries and territories.
- Was not aware of the stairs, not a problem but wish I knew ahead of time. Wish room space is a little bigger, but everything in the room is nice.
- Nothing really.

Perfect location, quiet, very clean and spacious.
I originally booked expecting a traditional Airbnb apartment, but it turned out to be a boutique hotel with full service — and it was a great surprise. The building is a beautifully remodeled old palace. Our unit was two stories: a spacious living room and kitchen on the lower level, and a bedroom plus sofa bed on the upper level. It comfortably fits four people. The staff were extremely helpful. At check-in, they gave us a full orientation of the city and recommended some excellent restaurants. The location is fantastic — close to Ponte Santa Trinita and within easy walking distance to almost everything.Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend it. Also the place has fully equipped kitchen, we did not use it except the espresso machine. There are so many good restaurants around.
Nothing really.
Very nice staff, nice room, comfortable including the bathroom. Breakfast is great, many options to choose from.
For a suite having the second bed as an uncomfortable couch is not a good option. Need to upgrade that, if retaining it as a suite booking option.
The room was large with a beautiful view and beautiful frescoes on the ceiling.
The mattress was horrible, comparable to a cheap motel and is the main reason for the low score (as already stated, the room was otherwise delightful). But a poor quality mattress which prevents a good night's sleep at this price point? For the price of 7 nights in this room please buy new quality mattresses.
This is a great location, close enough to the major attractions but a little secluded and quiet, really enjoyed staying here.
It’s in an older part of the city, plus the staff was super helpful!
Super friendly staff, great facilities l, and wonderful breakfast!
Everything about this establishment is five star: the staff, the breakfast, the room, the location. It made my stay in Florence extra special.
It’s was very helpful staff and clean room one of the staff I forget her name she come up with our reservations for restaurant in time was everything fully booked and she take us to very good restaurants I want to thank her so much me and my husband we have so much fun she let us like city more Thankyou for ur service mam ???
I like everything and I enjoy the stay
The location of the property was amazing. Very close and walkable distance to the must see attractions. The front desk reception was very helpful in checking us in and walking us through on what to see. The place was comfortable for two people.
A little small but made it worked.
For one week, we lived a Florentine dream at Palazzo RidolfiOur apartment welcomed us like a scene from a Renaissance painting,With high ceilings adorned with hand-painted details. The light spilled through the large windows,Where the rooftops of Florence greeted us each morning,Whispering the city’s ancient secrets. The parquet floors creaked softly beneath our steps,The drapes, rich and flowing, framed our days like velvet curtains on a stage. And on the bed, a heart made of red rose petals awaited us.A gesture so delicate, it made us feel instantly cherished. There was a graceful desk inviting reflection.A freestanding bathtub in the bedrooma touch of timeless romance. And a modern bathroom that blended comfort and beauty with quiet ease.Even the little coffee corner in the room brought us warmth each morning.Every detail was lovingly thought out.But it wasn’t just the place—it was the people who made this stay unforgettable.Francesca and Evita… what beautiful souls.Their kindness went beyond hospitality. They became our guides, our helpers, our friends. With every recommendation and thoughtful gesture. They made sure we felt not like guests, but family.Silvia, with her sweet smile, always eager to share tips on where to eat.Sara, a radiant presence, preparing our breakfast with care, her fresh scrambled eggs the perfect start to our day.Natalia, Matteo, Alessio—always smiling,Always ready to offer more than we could ask for.Even when we left for Venice and returned days later,They took care of everything—moving our luggage, keeping everything safe.We felt so deeply taken care of, in every possible way.And the breakfasts… oh, the breakfasts.Perhaps the best we’ve ever had.Palazzo Ridolfi was more than a place to stay, It was a sanctuary.A poetic pause in our journey,A reminder of what it means to feel at home… even when far from home.To everyone who made our stay magical, Thank you!You are now part of our story.
Very central location, charming old building and renovated rooms and bathrooms.
They don't have their own parking, they work with a separate garage that does Vallet and you need to leave your car keys.
My family and I enjoyed the beautiful and roomy accommodations and the friendly and helpful staff. We loved the excellent quiet location of the hotel. It offered ample dining, shopping and entertainment options nearby
Housekeeping was not always consistent. Once, we came back in the late afternoon and our rooms were not serviced yet. We also had to request that housekeeping give us enough towels. They were leaving us with 1 less towel for the first few days of our stay. Shampoo was also not being replenished daily. I had to ask the front desk for some.
We had a great stay here during our trip to Florence. The location is right in the center, which made it really easy to walk to all the main sights, but it was also surprisingly quiet at night which we really appreciated. The room was in perfect condition and very clean. The bed was especially comfortable, one the best we’ve slept in on any trip. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They took the time to show us the best places to visit, eat, and explore, which really helped us make the most of our stay. The building itself has a lot of charm and character, with a real sense of history. It added something special to the experience. All in all, a solid 10/10. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Florence.
Location and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was amazing.
Air conditioning wasn’t consistent throughout the night, kept shutting down.
Beautiful old palazzo that has been updated and modernized, but still maintaining its historical charm. Fantastic location in the heart of Florence, just steps from the river, many fantastic shops and the Palazzo Pitti. The staff was very helpful and made some great recommendations for things to do and see in the city. Breakfast was very nice and served in a beautiful dining room. We will definitely be back!
Access to the property through the main gate is a bit awkward and the elevator is very small. However, these are minor inconveniences in an otherwise fantastic place
Location is perfect, close to tourist areas and restaurants. Accessibility is good too, easy for taxis.Entrance late at night is a bit unique as it’s an old building. Good thing they have an elevator as the hotel is in the 2nd floor.
Great spacious rooms. Wonderful people. Beautiful historic building in the best part of Florence.
The location is absolutely amazing. It’s in the heart of it. All the buildings itself is beautiful with the most amazing door. The facilities are clean rooms are large uncomfortable.
