Nice location-felt like the room was a bit bare and limited. And one of the worst rooms in their property - road facing.

Staff were knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful.

Location walking distance to Messe

Initially we were allocated a below ground room with no outside view, completely enclosed without even WiFi. Were moved but second room not much better. Rooms poor, very basic and very dated. No information on dining times etc. Requested drinking water for room, waited and waited and nothing came. Could literally hear everything in adjoining rooms, kept us awake all through the night.

Exceptional location. Close enough to downtown Dusseldorf but yet having the openness of being a bit away from the hustle and bustle.

My room being located 1/2 floor below cannot enjoy the view of the Rhine river.

Location easy to find

- The staff is inexperienced, quite unpleasant and unable to deal with complaints.- No lift. - Very bad insulation in the room. It was freezing cold. - I booked in advance and asked for a room in the calmest area of the hotel. I was given a room with very noisy guests above my room. - The friend with whom I was travelling made her room reservation for the same room category as mine, on the same day as I, and we discovered at the checkout that her booking rate was 30% lower than mine (we have the same booking genius level). I just tried to understand this difference by asking the receptionist the reason for this and the young lady was quite rude with me. In addition to not being capable to answer my question.

This hotel is a gem. Very well located, with river views and a promenade where you can enjoy the views both of the Rhine and the city.The hotel is impeccable, and the service is very friendly and professional. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The breakfast offer was varied and very complete and with the views from the restaurant the experience is unrivalled. It is definitely a place to return to.As for location, the hotel is between the center of Düsseldorf and the airport, which makes it ideal for all types of stays.

-Our room was big enough for us, very clean and well organised. -The staff were super friendly and smiling -Our wishes were always fulfilled -Every time we came back in the evening, there was some candy, or chocolates on our beds. ?-The hotel and it's surroundings were breath-taking-We loved everything in this hotel. We would come back again and again. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is visiting Düsseldorf

Wonderful location, superb food and lovely staff. We were allocated room number 1, which overlooks the Rhine and provided the perfect place for our most recent visit to Düsseldorf.

We always stay at the Schnellenburg when we visit Düsseldorf and will continue to do so. Some parts have been renovated over the last year, but others could perhaps do with some refurbishment to keep the status that this hotel truly deserves.

It is extremely well positioned but be careful and ask whether you can get to the property or not. As for us it was blocked due to a football match and we had to park the car far away and go grab it late at night.

I didn’t like the room we got on the side, as it looks very different and quite a bit aged compared to what is on the website. And give the price I expected more. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. The best place probably if you go to a concert or football match, and have the money to afford a pricier option.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the stuff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good. Beautiful view and location. The room had a nice carpet, extra cover, and a heater. I really like that the mini bar in the room was free.

Good english speaking reception. Wonderful resturant by Rhein. Proximity to Nordpark.

We checked in and without asking they gave us the very best room in the hotel. We could have fished in the Rhine from our windows. Staff were wonderful. I sat in our window ledge for a long time just watching the sunset and the many different boats

Pretty place inside out of the hotel. Very food dinner at the restaurant, the young staff know English and very friendly.
