Set in a green area just south of Düsseldorf city center, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and great transport links. The quietly located Hotel Karolinger has modern rooms with private bathrooms. The Hotel Karolinger is near the university hospital and only 1.2 mi from Düsseldorf city center. The Karolingerplatz tram stop and Düsseldorf-Bilk train station are just a 3-minute walk away. Guests staying at the Karolinger also enjoy free use of the local public transport during their stay. The hotel also offers easy connections to the A46 and A57 motorways. Offer tickets for the entire VRR area free of charge.

The location is good. There is a parking possibility with a logical fee payment

Cons -

All emails communication was in German. There was nobody in the reception on Saturday morning and I was confused with the messages in German I received on how to check in. Luckily a friend of mine was there and she speaks German and explained me what to do. On top of that, in one message (in German always) it was written that the key for the Garage would be in my room but no key was there. Luckily, there was a cleaning lady at that time in the hostel and she called a responsible and learned where in the reception was the key. The next day (Sunday) a receptionist was there and this receptionist was presenting poor excuses for all this mess and lack of information.
