Hotel Karolinger - Self Check-In

Property is clean and tidy.

No elevator. Our rooms were on 3rd floor and we had to struggle lifting our luggage from the ground floor.

Location

Very small and inadequate room in the basement, right behind the reception. Natural light is sparse, room lights are ugly and few. Not a single coat hanger. Bathroom design from the seventies. Dripping faucet, and the wastewater system is making ugly noises. It must be hard to find a TV that small nowadays. Interior isn’t even properly fitted.

Room was nice, everything clean, check in very easy with the number combination to get the key. Super soft bed. No-interaction check in was a bliss.

Walls arent very thick, you can hear loud neighbour's very well. Hall system a bit confusing.Bed was very loud. Never saw a single staff, which I dont mind at all, I was informed, but the only lady I ever saw was a bit rude.

The hotel placed in a perfect and calm area with access to everything like trains, tram, etc.Staff were so professional and coolThe room was really clean

Bathroom was too small

The location is good. There is a parking possibility with a logical fee payment

All emails communication was in German. There was nobody in the reception on Saturday morning and I was confused with the messages in German I received on how to check in. Luckily a friend of mine was there and she speaks German and explained me what to do. On top of that, in one message (in German always) it was written that the key for the Garage would be in my room but no key was there. Luckily, there was a cleaning lady at that time in the hostel and she called a responsible and learned where in the reception was the key. The next day (Sunday) a receptionist was there and this receptionist was presenting poor excuses for all this mess and lack of information.

Price is okey

Smell is terrible, like cold cigarette. Super noisy and staff is not friendly at all.

Room was clean and quiet. Location was amazing.

A fridge was missing and mattress and pillows could be more comfortable

Perfectly located near public transport stops in close proximity to shopping centres. The hotel provides you with a public transport ticket valid for the entire duration of your stay which was a pleasant bonus. Great self-service lounge area if you want to have a snack but forgot to bring your own. Nice and tranquil rooms

Comfortable, plain and clean hotel. The location is nice, next to the river Dussel and not so far from Bilk train station.

It was so CLEAN and THE LOCATION is perfect.

the room was really very cold I turned the heating on to maximum and it was still very cold. I think the heating is not powerful enough! The room is missing a kettle and a fridge. other than that everything is good.

Hotel is situated in a very good area. Not far from Sbahn station. Very clean etc.

It’s a little bit personal but- the elevator is absent. If you want to rent a room you should know that.

Location is walking distance to local shops and cafes. Very near to trams to take you into the city .Given a free travel ticket which is excellent. Able to pick your room key up from entrance box with your unique pin number if staff were not available. Staff were lovely. Friendly, happy and helpful.

Would have liked tea/ coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel located near to city center. The room is clean and the check-in time is quite flexible (you got a code to get the key when no staff is there).

The soundproofing of the room is not good, I can hear the words from the neighbors clearly.

There was a girl who helped a lot she even carried my heavy bag to 3rd floor !!! She was amazing ?Room was clean .

The guy on reception next day , he wasn't helpful and talked to me aggressively. Also most of time there was no one at the place to talk to or ask about anything

Location is super good, a lot of nice places around :) The hotel itself is clean and cozyA bathroom is a bot small, but for 1 night the place is quite good))

The softness of the mattress

The room was clean. The location is convenient as it is near all subway, train, bus. A mile away is a big supermarket and a shopping mall. The owner, Mrs. Victoria , was a kind and warm-hearted woman. She always helps me with all her kindness.

Easy to find it, located in a residential area. Easy access to train station, to restaurants. It‘s very convenient and budget friendly stay overnight.

Matratze is too soft and TV Bildschirm is always too bright.
