Large hotel with rooms available

Needs refresh. Room door cannot open completely because of conflict with entrance cabinet. No coffee machine : only instant coffee. Pillows not comfy

As expected we received a good quality service from the hotel. The rooms were clean with enough facilities for a single night stay. The room temperature was perfect and the breakfast covered a wide range of items.

Breakfast was perfect and the staff at the bar and restaurant were amazing—always friendly, professional and welcoming.While the rooms were generally fine, I would like to suggest a few improvements based on my stay. Specifically, the bathroom door requires fixing and the shower head and hose should be replaced. Additionally, the curtains could use a thorough cleaning and the kettle needs to be replaced as it was rusty and had significant limescale buildup.

During our recent 10-night business stay and despite prepaying approximately €4,000 for our accommodation, we encountered significant issues upon arrival.During check-in, the hotel's system failed to process any of the four credit and debit cards we provided. Although our bank confirmed that the issue originated from the hotel’s terminal, the front desk staff declined our offer to pay the city taxes and security deposit in cash. Consequently, we were forced to wait in the reception area for two hours while we arranged a bank transfer through our accounting department. We were not allowed to check in to our rooms during this time, despite our substantial prepayment.This technical issue persisted throughout our stay, as our cards were declined at every point of sale within the hotel. As a result, all expenses were charged to the room, which caused further delays during check-out while we waited for the final balance to be settled via another international wire transfer.We are disappointed that the hotel did not provide a solution or show any flexibility regarding an issue caused by its own systems. We hope you will take this feedback into account to improve your service for future guests.

The room was extremely hot and I was advised to sleep with the window open in mid January. The room was initially not clean and I had to change rooms. Bedside power outlets did not work, the spa was closed without prior notice, and the restaurant was overpriced with slow and understaffed service.

Great location and breakfast!

Room temperature was a bit too warm for us. Was challenging to regulate it .

Fantabulous staff, sumptuous breakfast, splendid room, ample parking

Unseemly closure of lobby bar for 2-hours in the late afternoon on New Years Eve. Presumably due to lack of worker availability.

The stuff was very helpful, the room was big and when we tried the restaurant the food was also good !

The pool was closed

It was a nice hotel in a good location for public transport. Staff very friendly.

The room temperature was horrible. Super hot, even when windows were opened- which obviously then meant street noise. There was a basic controller on the wall but it was pretty much useless. It was advertised as having sound proof rooms - they are not. We heard noise from both outside and next door - who engaged in lengthy and vigorous (our wall was constantly banged) love making!

Check-In had me baffled. I was checked in by an employee that used a very condescending undertone the entire time. When paying, an additional 50€ surcharge was added without asking or explanation - I only caught it on the reader and had to ask about it first. They argued, that I know what this would be for, but it was never explained to me, or announced, or was even visible when booking.The room was really disappointing as well - worn down, sink not draining properly, shower had tons of limescale and the water jets sprayed across the bathroom. The quality of the room was on a level that I'm used to from hotels that cost at most half per night. The price was definitely not justified from what I experienced.

Location, bed comfort

The room is cold, air conditioning is not enough to heat. Breakfast should be more various.

The hotel is run down, there is no room service, the carpets are stained and no tooth brushes.

Pool closed. Exercise area had a foul smell. Room hot.

Great design and generous rooms. Shower excellent if a little bit overzealous. Staff at the hotel are exceptional, very helpful and speak several languages.
