It’s all a bit worn and the tv rarely works

This place deserves a higher rating I believe. Location couldn't be more central, nice spacious 1p rooms, kind people and a breakfast option that is incredible value for the price.

Finding the reception was a bit challenging, it was up the stairs, around the corner.

No frills hotel, room was spacious, location was perfect for visiting Christmas markets. Bed was comfortable. We could check in at 2pm already. Staff was helpful and generally friendly.

Wasn’t immediately obvious that reception was up the stairs, but we found it eventually.Room could have done with a water kettle for making tea.The music from a bar or club next door was audible in the room and went on for a bit (maybe midnight), even on Sunday night. Breakfast lacked yoghurt and fresh fruits. There was lots of fancy stuff like capreses and salmon, but we really just wanted some yoghurt and fresh fruit and that wasn’t there.

Location is superb, and good value for money.

I almost fell in the shower from very slippery floor, and the hot water was a long time coming. Also needed better lighting

Great location - I came to Düsseldorf to attend a rock n roll/rockabilly concert and it was 5mns walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apologies as I don’t speak German

Location was excellent.

Room was ok. There was dim light, no iron, bottled water provided but no opener so could not use. Not the greatest bed or pillows. Same breakfast everyday, absolutely no change.

Disappointing

Poor reception on arrival, not very friendly at all, as a tourist, the first words from reception "Passports" and then Tax, not explaining very well..Rooms not clean, marks on walls, bathroom not clean. Very outdated, not as shown in pictures.

Good location in the old town

Very basic hotel and throughout the day when you entered the hotel it smelled like a public toilet. Thankfully the room didn’t have a bad smell. The staff were not very friendly. On the Thursday evening the music from a nearby bar was so loud and it didn’t stop until 2.30am, don’t stop here if you want a peaceful holiday.

Brilliant location in the heart of Düsseldorf's old town.Breakfast was good.Rooms clean and comfortable.

Location was perfect for our needs during the Euros. Room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was adequate.

Superb location and very good price.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable and the room was a bit tired. But, to be fair, it was clean and good value.

Limited choice at breakfast. Rooms was advertised as double bed plus sofa bed and when we arrived we were told it was a double bed. Which in turn was 2 separate mattresses with separate quilts on a double bed. No tea or coffee facilities in room. No safe in room. No facilities in hotel. Furniture and decor were dated and looked like they needed a good deep clean. Very noisy from pubs on outside. Cleaners had all doors opened in all rooms and did not seem secure as anyone could walk in.
