    Pros +

    • It is a lovely hotel, with plenty of personality, like few have these days. It is well curated, well furnished, great decoration, with a style. Christmas decoration made the stay even lovelier. Nice and wide room, comfy bed. Very quiet.
    • Attractively furnished, comfortable room; quiet, good lighting for reading.Enjoyed having use of nearby lounge area. Proprietor welcoming and helped with local information.Streetcars stop just across the street, going to central railway station in about 7 minutes.Oberkassel is a charming, prosperous area just across the river from Duesseldorf’s downtown core, with great dining and shopping.
    • Very nice staff and new room

    Cons -

    • All was good for me. The stairs may be a bit steep for some people as there's no elevator. Breakfast was nice, of good quality, but I would have expected something a bit more personal, like the place.
    • Breakfast may not be served if hotel has small number of guests, though can be prepared on request.
    • First there is no elevator very high and difficult In my room the wifi are not working and there was a cleaning problem (hair of women on the towel and not new of toilt papar in the bathroomthay dont take the old one…I changed my room in this room also the tolit paper was not new and there was an horrible noise in the wall from electricity problemI get another room and take my staff in the third time to a nice room but it was in the middle of the night. Maybe i have not be lucky but it was difficult for me this stayI must to say the team so kind and wonderfull and help me so nicely so thank you.

We drove from the north to explore Japanese food that Düsseldorf has to offer and after disappointment with our original booking… We found this little gem. It is absolutely pristine. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff.Thank you very much.We will definitely be back on our next visit.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The staff were helpful and nice, and the interior décor was beautiful. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, though the room itself was quite small – something we expected. The hotel’s greatest strength, in my opinion, was its location. It’s conveniently close to public transport (tram) and surrounded by excellent restaurants and cafés which made our stay more enjoyable.

There were a couple of downsides. We stayed in one of the ground-floor rooms, and the bottom part of the door wouldn’t fully close, leaving a slight gap that allowed noise to enter the room, which was a bit annoying. It definitely needs some adjustment. Additionally, the shampoo and shower gel were provided in small single-use bottles that were replenished daily. While this was convenient, it would be more sustainable to use fixed refillable dispensers instead.

The room was clean and quiet

The bed mattress was soft, and a little uncomfortable.

    6RichardPosted on: 9-11-2024

    Tedious. Laboured. Hot.

Old fashioned. No air con. Noisy rooms at the front with the tram on the street from 04:30 to late. No lift. Leopard skin patterned carpets everywhere. It’s not for me.

The staff was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming! The hotel is beautifully designed. Booked my room last minute due to a flight mishap. From the time I stepped into the hotel till I left for the airport the experience was great - good breakfast included. They also have nice cocktail options and lounges with good connectivity. But it's the excellent people made my trip stressfree & comfortable. Highly recommend this boutique hotel!

My parents liked our bite so much that I rented them a room and they cancelled their other accommodations! The concierge was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful dinner recommendation! I also love the keys that you can leave with the concierge when you step out. It is a really nice system so you never lose your key.

    Great design and location

No elevator could be an issue. Small room is small but cozy

Room very nice decorated, with very nice amenities (coffee, haribo, soft drinks, shampoo, shower gel etc) super clean and nice style. The area is full of nice restaurants, ice cream shops and coffee areas. Check out time is noon which is great to enjoy the hotel. I loved this place and would highly recommend it

Receptionist called me, before the check out time, to remind me when I had to leave the room. I don’t think it is necessary to ring customers for it but better to inform check out time while doing check in. Nothing really important …

    The location is quite convenient

The room was extremely small, doesn't match the picture they showed on Booking.com

    8MohammadPosted on: 6-22-2024

Very clean with large rooms. Staff were helpful and nice. Also, the location is great!

It was pretty warm and the room only had super warm blankets. The key chains are ridiculously large and heavy. Maybe invest in cards rather than keys? Or smaller keychains?

Loved the staff, breakfast and amenities. Beautiful hotel! Radio in the bathroom was nice. Nice app to get drinks, bed stuff or anything else.

The bathroom and especially the shower were too small.

    Excllent breakfast.

Parking facilities; you need to book in advance otherwise it is extremely difficult to find parking space downtown

didn't have an area for breakfast and also no elevator to transfer baggage and guess
