Hotel Herzog

A great location, just an easy walk to the city center and others.. The breakfast looked great but we wanted to try the street food. We got free coffee in our room,The staff was very friendly.

Location is excellent, centrally located. Must go out for eating. They serve only cool drinks and hot coffee / tea. They charge extra for each item.

Unfortunately mini refrigerator did not work during my stay no one attended even after informing them. In an emergency no one will be there for immediate assistance but need to call them. At the time of checkout at about 7am , no one was there to handover key, but I was instructed to leave the key at a designated place.

Location was great we didnt have breakfast. Staff super friendly nothing too much trouble. Brought us fans to the room as was hot. But we slept well wasnt too hot for us.

Bathroom small

It had everything we need for a comfortable stay as a family. Staff was so friendly, especially Belma helped us to leave our luggages at the hotel for hours before our evening flight.

The constant smell in the breakfast area

The room, though small (a single bed with a bedside table, a table with a chair, a wardrobe, and a sturdy suitcase bench), was very clean. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. The ladies at the reception were lovely and very friendly. The location is convenient: while not super central, it only takes a short bus ride from the train station or the center. It is also a very good walking distance from the center.

I’d say the facilities are somewhat outdated (but still very neat and clean).

A great location. An easy walk into the AltStadt and also accessible by tram. I also used a taxi late at night to return from the old Town, it cost 8.90 euros.I met four members of staff over the three days and all were very helpful. Breakfast was good and catered for my needs. I felt safe walking around the area at all times. Good value for money and I would certainly stay again.

Quiet room, friendly staff

Location could be better ?

the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean

the bed was super uncomfortable, the radiator kept making noises throughout the night so I had to switch it off because I couldn't sleep, but without it it was cold. A cleaner just walked into my room for no reason, apologised, and left.

I’m very disappointed with the standard of the hotel. I had to change rooms. The first room had dirty bed linen. Generally the room wasn’t clean. The hotel gave me an alternative room instead. The new room was double the price (I sacrificed the money I had paid for the 2nd night in lieu of the additional room charge for my new room). The new room was better and generally clean but smelt damp. Shower also didn’t work properly.

Amazing team , very friendly very supportive , always helpfull , the team make you feel very very welcome, I will Visite this hotel again especially because of the nice treatment we received by everyone there , especially the Lady with long Black hair and the Lady with curly blond hair , the hotel itself is very clean and looked after .

The family room was outside and not in the same building. Giving you a lot of privacy and no noise.

There are windows in the ceiling that can't be blinded. But for a few nights that's fine.

The staff was lovely and helpful, we could get some cups of tea downstairs as there are no kettles in the room, central location, one could walk down the Rhine promenade and the old town. Our room was on the quieter side of the property and we slept well

Very welcoming and kind staff. Felt very safe and comfortable. Clean and quiet.

During our stay, the staff provided exceptional assistance to accommodate our needs. The hotel's prime location is a significant advantage, as it is conveniently situated near the bustling downtown shopping district. Additionally, the main Dusseldorf station is within an acceptable walking distance of approximately 20 minutes.

While the shower area was smaller than anticipated, it did not significantly impact our business trip experience.

Everything was nice, mrs belma was really kind and helpful. We stayed there again when we are back to dusseldorf.

Maybe a mini refrigerator can be added to room for drinks.
