The hotel is a great value for money. The room is clean and comfy. The staff is extremely kind and attentive. All room facilities were good. Easy access to the Altstadt and to the Hofgarten.

The walls are extremely thin. It is possible to hear the persons on the neighboring room.

Clean small hotel. No frills, just fine for the one-night business traveler. Newly renovated. Very friendly staff. Very close to Trade Fair area (Messe Düsseldorf)

We stayed here during a big watersport Expo in the Düsseldorf Expohall, since other hotels in the area drove up their price excessively. Doria was a positive surprise for us. The good location, the more than expected spacious rooms (!) and the reasonable price impressed us. We will come again.

Good limited distance from Old town; with underground close by hotel this trip is super easy. Only one stop (1.5km).Good noise reduction from outside. Bed, breakfast are fine; room is clean.

Room somewhat hot. Window open is only an effective option for short time.

Great location. Attentive staff. Rooms are ver clean. Great valué for the money paid

Tram passes by the street, so noise and vibration are constantly felt

Perfectly clean and functional hotel well located for pleasant walks to nearby points of interest. There is easy access to public transportation (which we used from the airport), many great cafes/restaurants, bakery and groceries nearby. The staff at the desk (limited hours) was very helpful and friendly. Key pick up and entry was super easy. We could walk to river cruise embarkation in less than 20 minutes. The hotel itself is very quiet, good showers and comfy beds. We could book a room for each of us for 2 nights, to deal with jet lag after flying in from SFO, since the price was about the same or less than a single room at a "higher grade" hotel. We didn't try the breakfast, but it looked very good.

Only downside was the noise of the streetcar and traffic when windows were open. During the warm season, you will need to open the windows as there isn't AC

The staff is really helpful and nice and were available for any questions and problems. Location is nice: walking distance to the river bank, shops, nice cafes and restaurants around. Parking is very convenient.

It was the funniest room I ever stayed in. I’m not a very clumsy person, but I was always hitting something in the toilet, passing between bed and the window ? almost falling from the small step between toilet and the room. So if you are a clumsy person or very tall, very big, this room might be too small/uncomfortable for you.Would be nice to add mosquito nets on the windows.

Comfortable room in a good location. Everything is very much in order.

If you're a sensitive sleeper, consider that the hotel has windows overlooking a street with trams. However, you couldn't hear them that much. Indeed, keeping the window open is a no-go.

Walkable distance to the oldtown, good breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely suitable for a weekend trip! Room was clean and fulfills all of our expectations.

It was a bit warm inside (There is a mobile air-condition unit). Until around midnight, you can hear the tram passing by There was earplugs in the room, but we survived without using them.

Sound isolated room, the respect for privacy and clear instructions to enter the room.

    Uhm... everything was fine!

    7JonathanPosted on: 6-28-2024

Great location with convenient access to transportation and sights. Friendly staff and nice room. Appreciated the room included a fan for the hotter nights, and the road noise was not too loud with the windows open.

The pillows were not the most comfortable and quite flat, but otherwise the bed was comfortable.

Lovely small family run hotel less than a mile or so from the centre of Dusseldorf in Pempelfort. Easy, flat walk to Dusseldorf Hbf or via the Hofgarten into Koenigsallee and the Altstadt. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was good value at 11 euros and there are lots of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Good transport links (ubahn, trams and bus) to the city and to the Dusseldorf Messe / Arena.

Room was hot although there was a fan which we inexplicably didn't notice until we were leaving.

    8UjjwalPosted on: 6-20-2024

Location was important for me. Easy connection to Messe Dusseldorf Grocery store just opposite. Olen 7 am to midnight.

Price too high, perhaps because of Euro I booked in advance at very high price. Rooms were available at lower price on those dates.

    8AdamPosted on: 6-20-2024

Good location with great transport links. Helpful staff and adequate sized room. Nice bathroom

    All good

    7MattPosted on: 6-17-2024

Reasonable hotel for the price, staff were brilliant and very helpful.

The room was tiny and very warm.

    5ShinjiPosted on: 6-6-2024

Receptionist and breakfast staff were both very friendly and doing great job. Breakfast was also good.

Room is small and gloomy, little too worm also noisy outside. Bed itself was ok but pillows were way too soft.Bathroom amenities .... well.. 2 small sachets of all in one shampoo wasn't really enough though.
