Hotel Astra

Tidy rooms with decent beds and functional, clean bathroom. Close to access roads from and into the city, but no noise inside. Close to supermarkets and to the trams directly heading to the city centre. Ideal in combination with the safe and free parking the hotel offers.

The temperature in the room can't be controlled well. We stayed in the winter and it was pretty hot. There is no AC so room temperature might be an issue all year round.

With one word I will...

Everything. Price offer difference is something unmeasurable. Worst place I stayed. 8 hellish days where bathroom was 1x1m maybe 1,5x1

Free parking

The walls are like paper, you could hear everything, and I was surrounded by very noisy neighbors (some of whom came home completely drunk) around 1 a.m. I wondered if the sheets and duvets had been washed, they smelled bad. No fridge in the room.

It was very clean. Thank you to cleaning team. There is one grocery behind the hotel.

There was no refrigerator :/

Pleasant

Very expensive, very far away from center.Small room, outdated.Poor breakfast, lacking quality.

on your website it says genius ; 8.9 without venting number of stars ; after I’ve arrived this hotel is 3 stars hotel ; why you didn’t mention that on your website ! .This hotel is 2-3 stars max !

Entrance street has several water islands because it’s all holes and cracks ! No way to bring the bags to entrance on the stairs ? Very old reception and small !

The carpet in the room was pretty dirty. One of the lamps did not work (and as very dirty as well), so the room was a bit dark.

Very clean

My reservation was with breakfast, and the reception tell me it's not... So, after the double check, thay find the mistake, but i didn't have breakfast 3 days... And no money return, no special offer... Only "Sorry" and i send extra 45 euro outside for breakfast....

Noise, location and smell

Excellent breakfast, Very clean rooms. All employees like a friend.. We would rebook for 4 days in May 2025 unfortunately Astra hotel was fully booked.

Very clean, good value for money and decent location.

Good due with better shops etc. around it.

Clean rooms and nice breakfast. Good location with easy access to bus, trum and central business area.

We loved the easy access location to the city. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel. The staff were amazing at storing food for us in a fridge. They were so helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with, with us trying German and them speaking great English. It was a very pleasant stay indeed.

The extractor fan was a little loud.

Great Breakfast friendly staff good quiet location

Clean and comfy, both room and bathroom. Very close to public transport. Quiet. Breakfast buffet was great.
