We loved the whole ambience of this hotel.The breakfast was 1st class.The coffee was gorgeous. The room was fab.The bed was amazing.The location is perfect.Easy access to the banhof by the 708 or 709 tram from poststrassa.There's lidl, aldi and all the bars and restaurants within walking distance. The banks of the river offer a lovely walk where you can stop for a drink or snacks.

We didn't like the fact we didn't book for more nights!

Room size. - very compact. No air-conditioning so had to keep windows open. Lots of noise from the street below from very early mornings.

The room was a bit small and the bathroom is not separate enough from the rest of the room.

Fabulous location - a minute from the Rhein, in the Altstadt but quiet. Easy to discover Düsseldorf on foot from here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms, indeed the whole hotel were exceptionally clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious, the choices ample and the service impeccable. Quick check-in and out and luggage storage available. Will definitely stay here again if in Düsseldorf!

There was nothing we didn’t enjoy about staying here, but it is a shame there isn’t a bar facility to get a quiet last drink in the evening, although there is a mini bar in the room.

This was definitely one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast staff made this such a wonderful place to stay. It was also perfectly located for all the Christmas markets we wanted to visit in Dusseldorf.

there's very little noise insulation, so noise from outside and other guests could be a problem if you're a light sleeper

Perfect location - in the old town but very quiet pedestrian area. Beautiful breakfast - hot strong coffee served to you and custom omelet of my choice! And Lindt Santas at door on morning (stayed at Xmas season)

No facilities. No room service. And Not all personnel speaks English

From the moment we walked in the door, the staff treated us like royalty! You can feel all of the love that went into the development of the property. Very tastefully done. And, a great location. All of the local highlights are walkable. In summary, warm and welcoming staff, beautiful place, amazing food and great location. What more could one ask for?

The hotel is really nice. Location is great and very quiet at night as there is no car traffic. Beds and bedding are very very comfortable and high quality: I had the best nights sleep. Feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. The rooms and bathrooms are freshly renovated, clean and overall decor is very beautiful. I really loved the combinations of beautiful wall paint colours that work so well together. The breakfast is really one of the best I’ve had. Everything is offered on mini plates in tiny portions, giving you a chance to try many different dishes. Everything is very beautifully prepared and looks and tastes great. The atmosphere in the breakfast area is quiet and peaceful, and very cosy. You can als order warm eggs (omelet), but it did take about 20 mins, so be aware if you’re short on time. They also prepare the coffees barista style. The keys to the room are big and very heavy but you can leave them at reception before you go (it’s open 24/7).All in all I would love to stay here again. The staff have been all friendly too.

Situated near the riverbank in a quiet area, the room is clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was rather modest, although there were some interesting snacks. You constantly have to hand over your room key, and you can't enter the hotel yourself.
