Courtyard by Marriott Duesseldorf Hafen

You guys ripped me off i didnt stay and was repeatedy askingbyou to cancel as we could notvtravel. Hotel was happy for cancel but booking com not willing. I supported booking for over 25 years only to get robbed of 1000 euros. Poor poor show from bookingi would have happily paid for your commission but no you had to take all.My wifes visa was cancelled so could not travel.Very disapoinred

The whole team were so very friendly and helpful; they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. Lunch and dinner were also excellent. The room had great views and bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom decor a little dated but still very clean and all in good working order and this is being picky!

It is located in a quiet neighborhood -primarily business buildings so little traffic during weekend. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Staff are incredibly friendly.I like the location in that it's away from The Old Town (15 min walk along the canal).Rooms are clean and tidy.

1) The pictures of the room that I booked had a clear view of the harbour, but mine had a view on the opposite side of the hotel, directly overlooked by several apartments.2) cleanliness of my bathroom- there were a few hairs (at least 3) which where high up on the bathroom wall but still clearly visible (couldn’t take my eyes off the when taking a shower ?), and these remained on the wall throughout my 4 night stay.3) Toilet roll rationing - for some reason they are only allowing guests to have a single toilet roll in the room, and you have to go down to ask for more. I aim to not use more than one toilet roll each day, but I like there to be a spare in case more is needed (I hate worrying about running out of toilet role at those crucial moments ?).4) towel quality and rationing - relatively small and thin bath towels, way below the quality of what I expect with a Marriott branded hotel.

Irresponsible receptionists

Absolutelly unacceptable reception service. We wanted to check out from our two rooms and asked for the invoices. Our request was refused with the information we can get the invoice only from booking.com. What a surprise that I found out through booking.com we have to contact the hotel to get the invoice! Second- I wanted to pay for all rest extra costs and get the invoices. When I arrived home I found out that the unpleasant and irresponsible receptionist let me pay just for one room and not the second. Thank you for having extra work to do right now!Very overpriced hotel for such service, weak breakfasts and mold in the bathtube.

All staff are extremely helpful. Great location. Great breakfast

There was nothing I did no like

The staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early because they had a room available. The room itself was clean, comfortable and had everything you need. Good selection at breakfast. Nice location in the Hafen area

I think one of the lifts was out of order so there were sometimes very long waits for the lift

Room could have been better maintained stains on the carpet very old Terry and one lift OOO all the time. Bar always closed.

As usual this is a good hotel with high value for Money, location is super nice, the rooms are confty enough so that the reason why we are always chosing this structure when in Dusseldorf

well the parking place is a bit odd and overpriced in my opinion but i guess it's a standard in Dusseldorf

Super comfy room, very easy to sleep, very nice polite warm staff and in a very novel area

The restaurant menu choices were unbelievably limited, I am sure any decent chef would love to rustle up a lot more dishes than the paltry few on the menu here.
