Pros +
- The location is convenient, as it’s within walking distance of the central station—making traveling simple and stress-free. Having an iron and ironing board provided in the room is a fantastic touch, especially for business travelers.

Cons -
- The lobby décor is unappealing, with design elements that reflect questionable taste. There is a glass compartment in the lobby designated for smoking, and it’s unclear whether the cigarette odor originates from this area when using the bathroom ventilation. The room felt basic and functional—much like an Ibis Hotel—with the exception of a small fridge. Unfortunately, the furniture appeared cheap, and poor insulation meant that noise from neighboring rooms, such as snoring, was quite noticeable. The mattress was less than satisfactory. The surroundings of the hotel are not great, specially between the property and the central station.
- Maybe one day it was a four stars hotel but it isn’t any more.Bathroom old and not very cleanThe mattress was very soft, as if it were oldThe gym and the equipment in it were dirty and neglected
- They gave me the worst room right outside de elevator. I coul hear the doors an people talking. It was also very expensive. I booked the hotel 5 months ago. I also booked this hotel for a coworker two days before my arrival and the price of the stay per night for my coworker was less than half de price of what I payed. I feel ripped out since I booked a lot of time ahead.

Pretty close to main streets and the train station. Breakfast was good with asian food choices too
For the single room i did expect to be small but it was a bit more small than i thought. But everything all good
Very close to the main station
Very expensive as the Anuga Food Show was in Cologne. Not worth what I had to pay.
Location Location Location! Walking distance to Little Tokyo so if you like food it's a no brainer to stay around there. we did not make use of the breakfast as that was 25 euro per person (a bit steep for a breakfast) it's all up to you if you find it worth the money. Just be aware that most restaurants open around 11:30-12:00 P.M. so if you're an early bird you probably will have to resort to bakeries / cafés.Room was Big (we had the apartment...well the kitchenette is nice but seriously who is going to use it? but the extra space is quite nice) there were also no cutlery and pots and pans so yeah quite useless for guests that really were going to cook some stuff (maybe simple things like pasta or noodles) Might be a tip for the hotel to include those things.Parking in front of the Hotel for guests (perfect if you travel by car). You need to message the hotel to reserve a parking spot and they will open up the parking spot with a key when you ask the hotel staff. the parking spaces are quite tight but with my 5 meter + 2 meter wide car i could still fit in (just park slowly and it will be fine) Use your car camera's!
Smoke: Room smelled like smoke so the first thing we did was open all 3 windows to air out the room (also noticed that the Radiator was on 5...I turned it it off because it wasn't necessary to heat up the room). we're not difficult people so we just work with what we have...after 10-15 min the smoke smell dissapeared but clearly the hotel should check if people actually smoke in the room...Pillows: They are too soft! (couldn't fall asleep for like 1.5 hours or so) maybe a tip for the hotel to invest in better pillows...it was really hard to sleep (i had to fold the pillow for some volume). My wife had the same issue so it's not only me...Hot: the rooms are quite hot and the blankets are way too thick so after rolling for 30 minutes we decided to open the windows because it was unbearable to sleep with the windows closed (there is also no AC)Hotel room doors are quite thin we did not had problems with sounds coming from the hallway but if someone is standing outside you can clearly hear their voices. This hotel feels a bit more between the 3 and 4 star vibe. it's good enough to stay at for 1 or 2 nights. It's still an Okay Hotel don't get me wrong especially if you're with a couple (we just stayed here because we wanted to do a 2-day food trip in Dusseldorf so it was perfect for us)

Just that they reminded at the last minute of the 2nd day I was there, just before checking out, that I had breakfast included in the rate. And they allowed me to have breakfast at 10:05 instead of closing it then.
Everything elase; room, location, price/quality ratio, etc.

Not too far from Central Main Train Station.Rooms functional and nice view.
Cooler a bit small to make some air in room
The hotel conveniently located near the Düsseldorf Hbf and near the Asian Quarter. The twin room we booked was very spacious and the facilities inside the are good and very clean as well. The staff are very polite as well.

Fantastic hotel staff excellent and parking was easy.
Thought breakfast was a little expensive
Location was ok, close to the Japan street.
It is over priced. I honestly can not comprehend how it qualifies for 4 stars on Booking. Breakfast we chose not to have there as it was over priced. We were drawn by the Japanese style, but realized after arriving its really just the name. I couldn't see any other concrete Japanese connection. I would not stay here again.
Good location and the room was clean.
The room was ugly. Very outdated wallpaper and furniture. It felt very cheap and not worth the money.
Good location, free water, near many good cafe and restaurants

On a positive note, cleanliness was well maintained, which we appreciated. Breakfast was okay.
Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t quite meet our expectations. The building felt dated and lacked character. The location was not ideal, as the hotel is in a run-down area near the train station, which didn’t feel very welcoming.A major downside for us: while pets are allowed in the room, they are not permitted in the restaurant. This was never clearly communicated — not during booking and not at check-in. When we tried to have breakfast with our small dog on the first morning (July 15), the receptionist spoke to us in a rude and arrogant manner. We genuinely felt treated more like criminals than guests. It was an unpleasant and embarrassing experience. We sincerely hope the hotel management addresses this incident with the staff member involved.
