Amazing location with lovely service and extremely clean rooms

for b trip in the city is perfect. You can easily access nice facilities around and to use your limited free time for touring around. The hotel is convenient the staff is extremely polite and nice, and more immportantly speaks proper English !: )

The hotel is in greatly located in the city center 15 min walking distance max to everything we wanted to see. The food market just in front, multiple cafes and restaurants. It is clean comfortable bed nice size room.

The heating in my room did not work and it was extremely cold during December.

Pleasantly decorated room with a view of Carlsplatz. Comfortable bed and just the right warm duvet for the season.

This is at first glance a very nice hotel in the old town. Nice cozy room but unfortunately noisy as you can hear the neighbors until late at night! Very nice staff but very sparse breakfast with useless coffee, unfortunately it is not enough for the price you pay

Location, great breakfast, very good hotel bar that seemed to be open all the , the hotel was reasonably quiet at night, had really good parking program.

Our room lacked amenities that I would expect to find in a hotel at this price level. Room was very dark ( only a desk lamp and hanging lamp on the other side of the bed), only one desk chair so you really couldn’t sit and have a glass of wine unless one person sat on the bed. No light in the shower stall, shower door had mildew at the track, shower pan had no grip so it was very slippery. Bathroom soap, shampoo and conditioner seemed to be one bottle for everything (which can work)

Very nice and cozy hotel with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the room, despite being smaller, was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little outdated and not very well lit, but clean and more than adequate.

Small rooms and pipes in the walls made a sound several times during the night, which did not allow for good quality sleep.

everyone is amazing in this hotel, kind and smiling. also in the heart of bars/restaurants/cafes. loved it.

Location The receptionist who works from 2pm to 10pm dark long curly hair was so helpful and nothing was to much attitude for my guests approach Das Carl hotel look after her because if I decide to buy a hotel she would be my manager

The bar area was a little sterile maybe some soft music

Room was clean, temperature was comfortable, bed was nice and the shower was warm. On top the location of the hotel is excellent, close to where I had to be for the day, so everything, including the station, in walking distance

There was not a thing that I did not like

We came for the Xmas markets - the hotel is perfectly located - close to all market places and very quiet !

We did not take the breakfast option. So I cannot rate it.

Bathroom toilet are could be cleaned better. There was a slight urine odor

Room was too warm with no way to cool it downThere was loud noise throughout the night (sounded like grinding metal/construction) which kept me awake. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Shower was too small.

too pricey

Amazing central location between the old and the new parts of the city.Gorgeous presented and fresh produced breakfast of excellent quality.A great open air produce market is literally outside the hotel and Lidl supermarket is next door.Only 2 stops on the underground from the main station.Lots of lovely bars and restaurants are steps away.100% recommended, would definitely stay again.

Being allocated a basic tiny room, at the back of the hotel when I had paid for an upgraded room but that was swiftly changed.
