    Pros +

    • I am conflicted between the staff, cleanliness and location. Everything was exceptionally good. By far best hotel in German
    • The staff at the front desk was very kind.
    • clean, typical German finesse with nice décor, and convenient location.

    Cons -

    • The bathroom smelled like vomit, the carpet was quite stained and dirty, the restaurant food was not good, the parking garage gates were broken, we didn¿t get the room we had reserved¿ the list goes on.
    • my room (425?) A/C control broken (too suffocating to sleep), later someone finally came at midnight and manually turned on A/C from main control--which meant instead of AUTO, fan was on non-stop. In the morning, staff merely said sorry. unfriendly.
    • worst bed linens and towels ever!

Very nice hotel for a great price. Felt very luxurious. Good location-- walking distance from the main areas.

I am a regular guest and for a good reason. The hotel is serene, the rooms have a soothing and serene decor and are super comfortable. The Level lounge is a perfect place for some F&B and to work. It's one of my favourite hotels in the world and I have stayed 1000's of nights at hotels.

The checkout at 0530 was an annoying experience. The receptionist took very long to check me out, did not manage to get me a bill and although I repeatedly told him I was in a hurry to go the the airport, he did not seem to bother. I asked him twice if I needed a validated exit card to exit the parking. He said it was not needed. I carried all my luggage down, drove to the barrier and it was closed, not button for communication and a ticket was needed. When I went all the way up to the reception again to ask for a card and to complain, he started shouting at me that he wanted to be respected and that he would only help me if there would be respect. A proud man who does not make me leave the hotel with a pleasant feeling

    Location

Cleanliness of the room… we didn’t buy something from Lidl but as per receipt on the floor under the desk - we did

Very nice experience considering I did not have any expectations. But it really exceeded my expectation in every way. Great staff and they were the main reason! Room was spacious and great pillows. Facilities are great and breakfast too!

    Nice hotel well located in...

Restaurant was poorly ventilated with cooking odours from kitchen. Room key cards had to be reset continuously as the key system was too sensitive to proximity to phones or bank cards. Not good.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was across from a big park, in close walking distance to everything we wanted to do, had a restaurant with great food and ambiance, the room was so nice and the bathroom was excellent. In the bathroom, there was plenty of counter space, they had nice products, the shower was spacious and had nice water pressure and the finishes were very nice. In the bedroom, the bed was very comfy, they had complimentary water in the fridge, the A/C worked well and there was a space to open your luggage that out of the way. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and so lovely to have such a nice restaurant in the hotel to relax and enjoy an excellent meal outside on a beautiful day!

Modern and luxury hotel just outside downtown. The room was very large and very comfortable, bathroom was very clean. Helpful staff. A very large and very good breakfast. We had a beautiful view from our 8th floor room.

Parking was very expensive at 35€ per day. Room rate was a bit too expensive in my opinion even if it is a beautiful and luxury hotel.

Cleanliness and staff were kind and attentive. The room was clean. Wellness is a huge factor. There also clean with pleating towels for all patrons

Small parking. But that’s okay. It’s first come first serve and that is alright with me

Great Hotel. The location is perfect, near a really big park that connects you to the city center in less than a 10 min walk. We were there for the Christmas Market and it was so easy to get there, and still be away from the mess when going back to the Hotel. It's also close to two different metro stops. The staff was kind and attentive. The location is pet friendly, which is a huge plus for us. My dog had a great time too.

    Bedroom and location

Lack of evening comfort facilities and the fact that it was expected to pay for upgraded lounge facilities

    8WillemPosted on: 11-16-2025

The room was big and had a nice view over the main road in front of the hotel and the park next to the hotel. Comforable with good bathroom and coffee facility. Convenient location for us.

A bit of noise from the trams riding along the main road. Quality of German train system and in this case tram system is sometimes unexpectedly disappointing.

    8QaisPosted on: 11-6-2025

Location is very close to old town, garden and public transport tram and bus , good breakfast and close by big varaity of restaurant including Halal food

Only two point which 1- car parking bit expensive, I was expecting at least special rate for hotel residents 2- AC is very noisy and required attention Thanks for everything

Next to a lovely park. Easy walk to river for Viva river cruise. Close to museums.
