Cons -
- At 8:20 am, when we were still sleeping, A lady knocked on the door very hard and woke us up badly, asked me in German, (so we had to use Google Translate to understand each other): “When will you check out? There will be a roofer coming into our room to fix the roof, and we did not know our room is occupied.” How could it be? You assigned this room to us, you should know we are inside. If it will be impacted by a roof fix during our stay, you should assign another room for us. We only stay here one night; the policy of check-out time is before 11 am.At 9 am, two workers started to make noise on the roof, and at 9:20 am, they entered the room through the window. I said, "We are leaving now." The lady said,” You do not need to leave. The checkout time is 11 am”, but how can I stay in the room when there is this lady and two workers inside our room?Although we do really like this hotel, the location and the room itself. But this time we did NOT have a good experience. I think how badly they woke us up, entered the room before our checkout time, is really not very professional to operate a hotel business.
- Communication was bad. They failed to communicate what exactly was needed from the customer, instead spamming with the same long, poorly structured message again and again without getting any actual results. In our particular case, it was a request to fill out the registration form online. Which could be easily solved with a simple clarification message or a confrontation request. For some reason, reception at the property is not available after noon.Btw, the phone number provided in the email was not working (auto-reply only in German, which surprisingly won't work if you don't speak this language). Overall, communication could be an issue because of the language barrier. The breakfast was bad, especially considering the price. There was a quite limited number and quantity of food. No warm dishes were suggested. The coffee was of low quality. There were almost nonexistent options for vegetables and fruit.
- check-in experience was not smooth

nature was great and it's a silent horse farm, the lady at the breakfast is super helpful. 10 10 10
check-in experience was not smooth
Rooms and facility were great, super clean and easy to access. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The facility is great, it is a hotel but there is also a riding horse school, providing an amazing morning walk and interaction.
Cannot remember any negative experience.

Very nice location and rooms really comfortable the lady at breakfast is a star ⭐️
Breakfast was good.
We were not aware when we booked the hotel that its more or less a B&B. There is no bar and the restaurant is closed on Tuesday/Wednesday. So for a group of golfers that we are its important to have everything in oneplace bed/bar/food.
everything ... we wanted country feeling outside of the city of Düsseldorf but still close ... so perfect
I will return because it was exactly what I wanted. An attractive hotel in an idyllic setting.
