Steigenberger Icon Parkhotel Düsseldorf

The hotel has an excellent location close to shopping center and old town.The room was excellent as well, it looks brand new and modern although the hotel keeps the old architecture and design.The breakfast has a lot of varieties and the staff is professional and helpful.

Staff was great!

There was no air conditioning!We checked in and no one told us that the AC was not working!Then we had to keep windows open for air and then the room was full of flies and mosquitoes.They had to come and spray!

Location

Wrong luggage brought up to room.entrance not easy for elderly (only stairs). Breakfast had poor service, no staff.

It was our second time staying at this hotel. We liked that it was walking distance to all the places we wanted to see. Bonus - they are pet friendly. Our dog had his own bed, a welcome treat (toy bone, treats and calming spray) and a dog bowl to use.

location is excellent; they have renovated the rooms, it looks clean & fresh, basically it's a good classic 5 star hotel with prime location

there's only one restaurant, which usually is very busy, there are 2 other facilities that can be turned into restaurants for guests connivence

Excellent staff. Convenient location to shopping, old city and Rhine as well as parks/museums. Nearby bus stops and underground train station. Excellent selection of newspapers. Breakfast dining area and food selection excellent. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea provided. Sauna, fitness area and swimming pool were nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room size was rather crammed. Seat was not comfortable. Writing desk was too small and is cluttered with ads which are not necesary. Tried to use the small tablet on features and information of hotel could be better as it was hard to look up info. Small table with featured three magazines not necessary.

The location of the hotel was very good, but the amount of parking spots was limited.

We booked the Presidential Suite and the service the staff provided was worse than a 2 star hotel. Over 2 hours for room service and the food was just “ok”, closing the kitchen before the time set on the menus, the staff did not speak english well, and they were insanely slow in general.

Great service from each department! Very clean and luxurious hotel and rooms. Nearby all the great stores and shopping malls. In-house restaurant “Jones” serves the finest dishes and has an outstanding patisserie. Very attentive staff

No complaints

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Steigenberger Hotel, especially given the fact that all other beds in Düsseldorf were already booked and occupied. I even traveled back from Switzerland specifically because the air there is often quite stuffy due to the wood stoves, and I was seeking fresher air. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find my Hofgarten Suite, although I was a bit surprised to discover a plastic wood fireplace in the room - it's more for decoration than actual use. Aside from that humor, everything was absolutely wonderful; the hotel’s ambiance and comfort were excellent.

One small issue I encountered was with the air conditioning system, which did not produce warm air, making the large rooms rather cold. Nonetheless, my overall experience was very positive, and I would gladly stay here again.

Luxury without being overly formal. Perfect room with baöcony and a partial view of Hofgarten, and sunrise over Dreischeibenhaus. Human kindness from staff. I will be back.

The staff were absolutely amazing , I was treated so well be every member of staff , surrounded by many business professionals, it seemed that I would be overlooked but it was quite the opposite, the staff became like friends

The hotel location is fantastic and the staff was exceptional! We look forward to coming back here soon. The bar in the hotel had the tastiest drinks, and the atmosphere was super chill. I cannot name anything bad about this hotel and I have champagne taste, beer budget.

The valet was a bit short with us, I watched him park several cars as I waited, then when it was my turn, he pointed where I needed to park instead of parking my car. The valet also did not retrieve m bags from the trunk, a minor thing, but when traveling with my child, helps if the valet would assist.
