    Pros +

    • happy to get free room upgrade from booking. big suite room, with huge balcony, nice space of the living room, and the bed is separated so it's more quiet
    • Small rooms, old facilities, tiny bathroom
    • Close to main train station with some great Asian restaurants very close by

    Cons -

    • the reception works kinda slow, the design of the room is a bit outdated
    • The juice could be freshly squeezed
    • This hotel has potential but misses out on some basics. The bed was huge but there was something wrong with rhe mattress - it was high in the middle and sloped down on both sides making us feel like we were going to roll off the bed. The room itself was very clean but the small balcony had not been cleaned in months (judging by the pile of leaves and debris and the disgusting overflowing ashtray). The “free minibar” was poorly stocked with 1 beer, 2 waters, and 2 sodas. The coffee and creamer was not restocked after the first day. The TV in the living room did not work well (the remote control worked sporadically). The heat could not be regulated so we had to open a window to cool the room. Other than the uncomfortable bed these are not huge issues, but at this price point they need to do better.

The hotel was only 10 walk from the train station. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Especially Ms Permaratasari who help me with the room, Ms Aishia who was very helpful explaining about the hotel facilities ,the Accor hotels membership and the area and finally Mr Shamssidini who was so patient with me when I was trying to send my boarding pass to him email to print it gor me.They are paying attention to the guests' needs. I could leave my stuff at the storage room as i ve arrived before check in, and I ve requested a quiet room at highest floors if available. Indeed, my room was great, quiet at the top floor with a spacious bathroom with a shower and a separate bathtub and two enlargement mirrors, a comfortable double bed, a desk big wardrobe. Lots of lights option in room. The breakfast was excellent with a fine cheese variety, homemade marmelades, croissant, variety of different bread kinds. Options for ordering omelette waffles, etc. .The staff friendly serving with a smile. The is a bar in hotel like a pub offering also snacks.

The juice could be freshly squeezed

Great location 5 minutes from the train station. The staff was friendly, room was huge (we were upgraded from a suite to a privilege suite). The living room was was comfortable. The room was quiet and the windows can be opened. Good breakfast.

I received an upgrade which was a nice intention. It was centrally located.

The upgrade meant I had to walk through the garage to get to my room. Not ideal. Bedding was not sufficient on the bed in the room and the shower tray was dirty.

Five minutes from the station, lovely staff, great breakfast, decent rooms

Very minor, but the TV and the hairdryer did not work

    Terrible, garbage hotel.

The rooms were shit, shower didn’t work, shitty cleaning service as well.

    Very pleasant staff.

My shower flooded the bathroom and into the bedroom. I have mobility problems and it caused me pain trying to clean it up. I was also concerned in case it caused a problem in the room below. Also please make it clear to visitors that the key card is needed to operate the lift not all travellers have come across this before and I had to climb the stairs to my room which caused great pain

Nice staff really helpful. Clean room and bed but I would have preferred double bed as my colleague had for the same price

Good location, close to city centre, Little Tokyo, and Hbf. Air co was so nice during hot summer days.

Leaky water from the shower cabin, when I asked for new floor mat it was not quickly delivered. I stayed for 3 nights but it was only cleaned once. I find it strange for a hotel like Mercure, this isn't airbnb.

The place is in the middle of Little Tokyo and there is so much good food around the area. The beds are comfortable and parking is safe underneath the building

Central enough to access old Dusseldorf and river

Noisy - we did have room over front of hotel , other rooms might be quieter

The breakfast was so amazing! We absolutely enjoyed it so much. We also had a very restful sleep during the nights since the windows are soundproof. It was just so good.

I didn't like the location. It was close to the train station, but it was far from everything else. Would have liked the hotel to be further away or maybe in a different location. Also the elevator broke on day 2 of our stay.

Everything. Location, cleanliness, value for money, good staff

There was nothing I didn't like

The location and size of the room.

Outdated.. needs renovation. The breakfast was average.

    4ColleenPosted on: 8-8-2025

Good for those on a budget.

Toilet was very low. No fridge in room. Pillows were very hard.

    4MarkPosted on: 7-22-2025

Very close to the main station in dusseldorf and close enough walk to a lot of nice sights.

Staff weren't very friendly or good at communicating what was going on. Beds were uncomfortable and hotel needs some work done to improve it.
