Hotel AMANO Dusseldorf

This property was quite modern with a quirky feel. The staff were all lovely and friendly, they couldn’t do enough to help. I’d emailed a couple of weeks ago to make sure there was a fridge in the room and I was told there was one in every room. When we checked in our room was one of two that didn’t have one, I spoke to Sven on the desk and he immediately changed our room with a little upgrade as well. The beds were really comfortable and the whole place was very clean.

If I had to pick a fault it would be could you move the hotel a little closer to the old town

- Location was amazing, very close to Asian marts and restaurants - Room was spacious and nice- Decent parking options nearby

The instructions to enter the hotel with the digital key or something did NOT work well at all – another group and us were trapped outside the hotel trying to enter with our digital key in the after hours and it was a nightmare. Someone had to open the door for us at the end.

I liked the location, close to the central railway station. The room was comfortable for one person and very clean.

The hotel is otherwise beautiful, with very kind and friendly staff. The bed is very comfortable, and the coffee is also great

Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned to a high standard. There was dust in the corners, and the bathroom could have been given more attention. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not available in the room, for reasons unknown to me.

Did not enjoy having a room next too the stairwell as it was quite noisy hearing the lift go up and down.

little ventilation in room and window unable to be oppened meant was a bit stuffy and hot.

Nice, large rooms. Clean! There was a very nice bar downstairs.

The self service check in. I prefer the interaction with people.

Great location around wide selection of restaurants, we ate at a different spot every meal and i don´t think we walked more than two blocks. Will be back.

The bar was great! Super location. Very nice and helpful staff.

The only disadvantage was the bed it were two separate mattresses, that didn’t make it a comfortable night.

Location is amazing. In the heart of the city near restaurants and shopping. The hotel atmosphere bar lounge area very relaxing. Excellent Expresso Martini :-)

Much atmosphere in the hotel due to friendly and enthusiastic staff. It snowed when we got there, after a few hours waking to and around the Old Town, it was a pleasant haven to come back too

We requested a double bed and got 2 singles, which we do not like

The front desk is the backbone of any institution. Unfortunately, the female employee at the front desk during the afternoon on the 3rd did not seem to understand the basic responsibilities of her role. She appeared upset and, through her attitude, came across as rude. This made us uncomfortable and even afraid to ask any questions or clarifications. There was no welcoming attitude, and she did not respond properly to our queries. As a result, the first impression was very poor, and we initially felt that booking this hotel might have been a mistake.However, this negative impression completely changed once we saw the room and the facilities, which were very good and comfortable. The staff in the breakfast section were extremely kind, polite, and welcoming. The front desk staff member could definitely learn from their professionalism.Providing at least one bottle of water is a basic hospitality gesture, and it would be appreciated if the hotel could reconsider this policy.Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Except for the front desk experience, it is a nice hotel overall. The breakfast was tasty, especially the scrambled eggs and mushrooms.

Location near Little Tokyo. Nice bar in hotel and very good beds.

The digi incheck took longer than expected

It was close to the centre. We could walk to everything we wanted to see. The staff were so friendly and helpful. This was my third time staying here.

De bartender/manager was really friendly and helpful. Didn't like that there wasnt a real reception and hated the online in checking.Also nobody explained the breakfast etc we had to ask ourselves

It's a scam that they ask 25 euro a day for an extra bed and booking.com said just 25 euros

Great location - very close to the center and the train station. Self check-in and check-out is quite handy, and there was still a person who helped us with our questions and he even helped us check-in early. Very nice guy. The room wasn't big but big enough to be comfortable. There was a bathtub in a bathroom, and everything was clean and fresh.

It was very clean and good location hotel

Breakfast was not excelent and was expensive 20 € for very simple breakfast
